  • sound like a toaster trying to play back my score from Sibelius.

  • nieuwest high tension tenors xD

  • they sound like drum set toms...

  • 1:1 rim to head playing ratio!

  • They probably sound awful in this video because this fool it seriously striking them in the dead center of the head.

  • @RythmFanatic They probably sound terrible because they have no shells :o

  • How much do these cost? I would like to purchase them

  • so. gay.

  • That's an incredible and innovative instrument, I'd love to know more about it

  • oh i'm so happy that they is a Cavaliers vid in the suggestion box, i really need some refreshing

  • sounds like middle school quads

  • Sounds terrible!!

  • Is this a joke?

  • "Save the player's backs." More like hurt their backs. You have to condition your back so you don't hurt yourself when you are going all out in a real show.

  • it sounds like timbales with studio rings on it.

  • nice toast-recorder

  • Save your players back? If you cant hold the drum dont fucking play. Flat out sucks!

  • those sound like a drumset with no cymbals

  • can i buy these??!?! XD

  • those would be amazing for practice at band camp though. save your players backs a ton. pretty good idea behind those. if i had a band program, i would use these for band camp

  • @ajcf1995 its called conditioning :D

  • thats bull shit why not just call them tom toms? stupid fuck

  • Not so practical as marching quads, but could be better used as a marching drum set, just adding a small holder for high hat. People, stop hating on it just because you can't see the practicality in creativity.

  • i cant tell which is worse, the fact that he thought those "things" sounded good or the fact that he though he could play them good.

  • Stupid

  • Crank those Bitches!

  • Sounds more like roto toms....back the the drawing board.

  • shitty sound. plus youwould have to be a pussy to use those instead of the real drum

  • he's not bad at playing them, just the tenor things don't look/sound that good.

  • whats that shit ?

  • they sound like electronic drumset toms

  • you fucking suck

  • Aren't those just tenors without shells? Sounds like I thought it would after his incessant droning....like crap.

  • sound like garbage

  • drum 1 is good but 2 3 and 4 suck

  • EWW, and hes garbage as fuck

  • if u stand correctly then it shouldnt hurt ur back

  • i think it sounds good if it was used as like a lower pitched quint

  • Dumb ass

  • Ok all those things do is screw over your technique if you have one and make you look like your a du

  • This is probably the worst attempt to make lightweight tenors it sounds awful

  • you cant use them for rehearsal... the drums arent even aligned correctly.

  • dude no.........sounds like poorly tuned timbales .... the depth of the shell is what gives tenors the projection and the resonance plus a deeper shell and lugs allow for more tension so each drum sounds higher pitched........this is about as ridiculous as putting Salisbury steak on a bun

  • I can only see them as a practice at home thing. or.. not.

  • look shit sound shit, totally lame, no line is going to waste time on a shit gimmik like this. throw them away .. after smashing them.. so no one else can produce the awful sound we just heard. oh and nice ticks on those scrapes as well way to demonstrate.

  • Oh my god it's tuned so loooooowww!! Wouldn't hurt to make it a little higher would it?

  • haha they look like fun! I would hate to see them on the field though. Not a good drumline sound...

  • wow they are not for marching at all, way to low on the tension, and i can tell that they will have no projection on the field

  • drumset toms on a harness?

  • i guess if you're looking for that kind of sound they're good but not that many people are

  • who the hell would buy that?

  • whyd you put trash can lids on them?

    oh... wait...

  • dude wtf?? these sound like drumset toms not marching toms

  • sounds nothing like tenors!!

  • These belong in a drum solo, not on the marching field. An interesting concept nonetheless.

  • practice quads.. PRACTICE!!!! jesus fucking christ...

  • No shot drum?

  • No offence, but you're a pussy if you need these.

  • roto toms on a marching harness

    lame

  • only real drummers can hold up full sized tenors and march with them. your just a wimp if u resort to these

  • true tht

  • Or if you're old.

  • junk

  • he can't even do sweeps with no rim lol

  • thoes sound like asshole

  • wow sounds nothing like tenors lamo

  • @TheMusicman200 whats lamo mean, HAHA

  • @tennesseevolfan111 lamo is short for lame-o

  • at the end i think he played a Cadets 2005 drumbreak? lmao

  • sounds like loose toms... not good at all for performing as tenors. also you click more in your sweeps then a sophomore student in a high school marching band.

  • what the heck is this. what a joke.

  • it sounds like a drumset....

not good if your practicing marching....its seems more practical as a practice pad...

  • im trying to learn how to play these. any suggestions? sites?

  • sounds like south indian temple music!

  • are you trying to make a talk show of demonstrate...u wasted more than 1 minute listening to ur talking..and wat u played is not good.

  • its like beating on ten gallon buckets turned upside down. actually that would be a less expensive alternative than buying traps drums lol.

  • ummmm well why dont you learn how to play first then try to march roto tom tenors.....u suck balls

  • lol those suck...and yo sweeps are horrible

  • heres a good question would you rather play those or actual tenors, actual tenors look (and sound) wayyy better

  • doesnt sound like tenors at all...

  • roto toms kick ASS but i think wouldnt work for marching at all because they barely have any projection, but are awesome as extension toms on a set, im getting my set for CHRISTMAS! :D

  • where can i get one

  • those couldn't suck anymore thatn they do currently

  • quads aren't supposed to sound like toms. they should be higher pitched or more ring-e, i guess that would be the right term

  • "Split doubles"??!

  • I agree that they sound a lot like ass. w/o a real shell you have absolutely no projection. If you really want to make some money on practice tenors try mounting a set of tenor practice pads on a carrier. that might be more useful for saving one's ears indoors. because what you've created is just horrible man... horrible... Hilarious comment about roto toms by the way.

  • This has already been done by Dynasty, they suck out doors, they don't project at all. They do ok inside but the sound still washes. A DCA corps used them last year, and regretted it dearly.

  • i agree with mikelikes2rock they would be kick ass set toms but thay dont really sound like regular marching tenors

but it is a good idea just not for marching

  • first of all stop hitting the rims!!! practice so that doesnt happen. second since when were quads tuned that low? those just sound like pretty good set toms. plus why would you sperad the drums out? we quad players already have a great area of play anyway, bad idea...

  • Marching roto-toms?

  • They'd sound sick as kit toms. But very very bad for marching tenor drums.

  • Gay tenors,

    gay player

    hecka rims ..

    they sound like ass

  • ummmm either ur recording equipment is bad or those tenors are tunned WAY TO LOW

and u said u can use them for performances, well there is not a single performance that i play in and don't use a spock so put a spock on it

  • put that on a kit and it would sound pretty sweet.

  • what about a spock

  • are they suppose to be like light wait tenors?

or used as a differt type of drum.

if there tenors then they need to be tuned way higher.

and if there new thats pretty cool its like having for feild drums.

    but not nearly loud enough.

i don't think so at least.

cuz it looks like you hitting them very hard.

  • wouldn't be bad for a little practice.

  • How much?

  • how much do they cost

  • I would NEVER EVER THINK about using those in a marching performance...

oh yeah, and they're turned way too low for marching tenors

  • lmfao u cant be serious .....this is supposed to be a joke right lmfao lmfao thats horrible those r drumset toms lmfao he put em together lmfao what a fag

  • oh yeah your cool being an asshole on youtube, grow up

  • yah EMOLA

  • Sounds awefull....like some of these WGI high school lines!

  • grow some balls

    carry real tenors

    and get a real job

  • hahahaha

    i totally agree

  • i carried bass timp toms.. they had full size deep shells...these sound bad

  • oh wow!! impressive!

  • sooooooo many ticks.

    shit.

  • that was so freakin gay

grow some balls and carry some REAL tenors

  • Those would sound awesome for a set. I'd replace my original toms with those. (My toms suck)

  • lmao.

  • wow this sound like shit man wow its a disgrace lol they SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!

  • gay and they sound like shit

the wholl set looks like its gonna fall apart fuk those

    use dynasty.

  • These drums are NOT designed to be a replacement for "real" quads. For everyones information I marched with real tenors and HTS snares for over 15 years in UKs top drum lines. The point is to encourage people to play them. When you have a slipped disc and cant walk lets see who's a real player then!

  • The Drums sound like crap. A real player would take the weight of normal quads. I don't even think you should call these things quads. If You were marching with these they would be bouncing everywhere and it would look terrible.

  • also, watch your rims mister

  • damn, the 14, and 16 would go good on my drum set, other wise...GGGGGAAAAAAAAAYYYYYY

  • I wouldn't mind them on my set either =D

  • amen

  • GAY

  • look...marching with tenors shows that ur man and u can hold the weight of the drums. plus, the real tenor drums look cool. those traps tenors look ridiculous and stupid. the sound is terrible. sorry to be so mean tho...

  • 1. problem is, not tenors.. sounds like drum set toms.

    2. there so light, look how much they move when he plays..

    3. sound like shit.. lol

my quads(or tenors) weight almost 60 pounds..

  • whats the exact name of those kind of drums?

  • the idea itself is soo cool but the drums dont sound as good maybe a 1 in or 2in shell would be better but its an awsome idea

  • how about this NO they sound like set toms might as well starp on a drumset

  • wtf marching tenors??? wtf thats so bullshit

  • TBstandsforZACH: Well, these sound a helluva lot better than the TRAPS electronic set. They should rename them: CRAPS. I wouldn't pay a dollar for those! I wonder how much these marching ones are. I like 'em. Probably a lot lighter than Roto Toms.

  • These sound like balls.

  • Yay for the re-appearance of roto-toms!!! lol

  • Those sound absolutely terrible

  • kl simon teaches my mate at school he goes to a differen school than me.

    So jealous
