I used to drive mine in several Wisconsin winters. Airshocks, 200lbs of sand in the trunk, full tank of gas, and the hugest set of studded tires I could fit under the wells with the shocks up. I could drive in snow deep enough to fill the eng compartment. The studded tire burn outs at night were pretty cool too.
Reminds me of the time i wrote my name in 10' high letters with my '69 'cuda powerbraking in a parking lot. another time buried the rears in the pavement on a standing burnout. so much for those tires...
No you can tell by the side markers that it is a 72-74 car. The 70 and 71 markers are much thinner and are recessed into the fender where these are really square and sit on top. The Grill is the biggest give away though. 70 just had a single split down the center and 71 had dual headlights. this grill has 3 slits on each side with only one pair of headlights. So it may no be one of the most desirable years but it sure is a kick ass car.

I'm afraid the Barracuda is not the best car to drive over snow or ice as we had here this winter.
Apart from that, is a really muscle car.

Nice burnout but a 1/4 mile show would have been more impressive. It that a '70 Cuda by the way?
