Faith works no matter if it is positive (Faith) or negative (Fear). If you are so fearful that some certain thing is going to come about it generally does. If you have faith that something good is going to come about from dire situations, it generally works itself out for the good. The most awful thing that could ever happen to someone could end up being the best thing that ever happened to them, or it can make them bitter and unpleasant.
@shgibby61981 Let me tell you something about faith. A friend of mine suffered a serious head injury when she was a child. Instead of taking her to the hospital, her parents prayed for her. Now, in her 30s, she has severe short-term memory problems equivalent to that of an elderly person, and doctors have told her the disability is a direct result of the lack of medical attention following the head injury. Faith is a goddamn dangerous thing.
People ignoring God until in a tragedy. Too bad they don't rely on Him when all is well. God is not a god to be called on when needed, but all times. Stop being hypocritical.
