  • Imus was fired for making a stupid comment. He agreed and apologized endlessly. He had to settle his contract with CBS before he was hired by ABC. Until that was settled, he was off air but still working for CBS.

The reason ABC hired him is because he is a proven commodity and revenue generator.

  • Who are you two knuckleheads to say what a private corporation who is beholden only to their shareholders what they pay whom? "Say the wrong things in America"? Who the heck are you to say what is "the wrong thing"? What happened to free speech?

  • what a hat in hand cry baby...lefties get a life...get real jobs..do real work and maybe just maybe you will rise above your minmum wage existence...

  • You know what. You have to realize that that's how a lot of Americans think. And you have to give room for those people. There will always be a population of ignorant people in a country as big as ours.

  • a contract is a contract is a contract

  • I was actually making fun of the conservatives. That's the thing they always bitch about with liberals, and they do the same damn things.

  • Everybody knew Imus was gonna land another job. He's a radio icon. He's also been a leading critic against the administration. Anybody who's a somebody either watched his simulcast or tuned into the Imus radio show. I'm glad he's gonna be back.

  • lol i looke at a womans breast and the nipples looks like a black weird thing

  • Well done!!!!!!

  • burning man! i'll never make sense of this country

  • look at chris rocks career. Hes huge off of being racy.

  • So does Sarah Silvermann but you wouldn't put her and Chris Rock on the same category with Don Imus would you?

  • racy is racy. whether its a black guy from brooklynn or a rich redneck in a cowboy hat or a jewish girl. whatever floats your boat. They never shouldv made such a big deal out of one sentence. Thats the problem. Its not Imus, /hes mostly irrelevant. It's the guilt complex we've been raised on.

  • I think Imus job position puts him at a high standard than the other two. Imus holds a broadcast position and people in those positions are suppose to be unbiased in their reports. Do I think there was an over reaction to the Imus situation? Yes. But I wouldn't put Imus in the same shoes as Chris Rock and Sarah Silverman because those two are commedians of the lower standard.

  • he's not a news anchor. He's a tv personality. I'd put Chris Rock above Imus anyday cuz Rock is better at being racy without being offensive.

  • uhhh, Imus didnt want to get fired, it was an overreaction by race-baiters Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson

  • You guys are missing the point...its not about his firing about right or wrong..its about the fact that he says a racial comment (which nobody denies) and he makes 20 million from CBS and is now getting another 10 million...if he knew this would happened, I dont think he would be regretting what happened

  • I guess he should never get to work again for making a comment that was ment to be comedy...what he said wassnt that bad, he aplogized for it several times, went on the biggest racists show in America (Al Sharpton) and apologized again...what the fuck do you want from him?

  • That's the problem with people. Nobody is ever accountable for what they did. Blame it on Sharpton, and overreaction, and suddenly everything is ok. That's what gives liberals a bad name.

  • yeah they got carried away when they fired him...i'll say it...

am glad he will be back on the air. i am more liberal, but i liked his show

  • ahaaaaa all those PC haters gett'n SMOKED.

  • Go Don Imus.
