it was at night. this is the final "series" which means it coul dhave been any game in a 3 game series.

I was there too!! The second to last time I ever went inside of Tiger Stadium. I watched a summer league college baseball game in 2001.

@mustanggt12382 I was at the doubleheader game in 2001 as well. My sister sang both the Canadian and American national anthems and my dad was the announcer in the broadcast booth.

Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't that the last official and complete organized baseball game ever played in the stadium?

@Knightmessenger Yes that was the last official baseball game ever played there, that was the last time the stadium was open to the public. In 2002 there was a Tigers fantasy camp there and in 2006 the Bud Bowl was there, but neither event was open to the public. Did you know that the field is still there along with the flag pole? The field is actually in pretty decent shape thanks to many voulenteers who mow the lawn and pull the weeds. I played pickup baseball there last summer.
