Yes. This is how dizygotic (or unidentical) twins are produced - two eggs produced during the same menstrual cycle, being independantly fertilised by two different sperm cells.

hmmmmm not really sure im a second semester medical student (hense im looking for animations of implantation) and well you have to think of it like this remeber when women ovulate its when one ovocyte has matured? so it goes through the proses of the menstrual cicle but this only happends in one i dont think it goes out through both id have to ask my teachers!
