I think Carlin was much much closer to Atheist than Agnostic (unless you don't count screaming "all religion is bull shit. It's bad for ya folks" infront of crowds for thousands as disbelief in religion...). Dave Allen does strike me as an Agnostic, though I don't know enough to say for certain.
