My faith has been restored in Eddie Vedder with this one and the MMJ thingy.
I was there 20 years ago when a generation of bad singers took Eddie to heart and created Ogre Rock. Eddie didn't want that. Neither did Cobain. Neither did I, the same age as they. But, you young-ins made mud. A puddle of it.
One of the best shows I've ever seen. 10/28/03 in Santa Barbara, CA. Not only was Frusciante a guest, they also had Chris Cornell, Jack Irons, Lyle Workman and Jack Johnson perform with them.
Yea Calgary is pretty far from Santa Barbara ... even as an airplane flight. I guess we don't give enough credit to the sacrifices rockstars make to get to the show on time!
