In some south east states state lotteries fully subsidize college tuition for in state students who maintain a certain high school GPA. Concerning sexual harassment, Paul's stance is the same as on insurance. These are issues which should be decided at a state level. "Let's not make a federal case out of it" he said. This is how a true free market works. States will compete with each other for policies which camden education, insurance, taxes, business, etc. That is how we will move forward. Not by continuing to let a lethargic, unresponsive government dictate the lowest common denominator.

Sexual harassment is a states rights issue, the federal government should have no involvement. Assault and rape have their own criminal statutes ~ you commit one of these at work, you're going to jail, but not for sexual harassment. Indeed it has long been debunked that HIV/AIDS is a "gay disease". Anyone who still believes this is simply ignorant of the science.

But to be fair, however wrongheaded and reactionary the public's initial response to AIDS was back in the 80's [and earlier 90's], the "gay disease" idea spread fast because so little was known at the time-- without answers hysteria took over. That a majority of early AIDS victims were in fact gay made the fallacious connection all too easy to take root.
