I really don't like this for 2 reasons.

1. It makes Frank look like a fame seeking idiot when he already is famous so it just makes him look like an attention whore which in the first he might've been but at least he was sincerely concerned with the conspiracy.

They make it look fun, but you cannot enjoy the game if your are trying to do everything all fast to make the time events. No time to kill zombies, explore stores, no time for fun, just running all day and hope you can multitask missions. DEAD ISLAND way better, no time contraints and you can do anything you want.

@40mmLauncher That's why there's a Sandbox mode which gets rid of the timer. Also, there IS time to kill zombies, explore stores, and fun, just play the game over and over. You just have to know how to prioritize your missions and make time in between each time you go through the story. The timer forces you to make important decisions, such as leaving a survivor behind, not doing certain missions, etc. The story wouldn't make sense without a timer.

@40mmLauncher you can just fail the game and you can do what you want. I have heard there is a free mode in the game. So it should not be a problem. Also dead island is a diffrent game and you cant compare them. Yeah dead island is fun for some but i would pick this game anyday.

if you read more details about this game, in coop mode the second player plays as chuck. But in solo his whereabouts are unknown. Maybe DR2 and DR2:OTR was happening at the same time then ending a happend, frank wanted to use the elevator to get to TIR (he wanted to win some zombrex) then *BAM* he hits zombie TK and then Case West happens?
