The first time I heard this song was on a Sephiroth AMV, and I was very upset when the video was taken down. 'Mordred's Lullaby' suits Sephiroth eerily well, and I'm glad someone else has made the connection and made such a lovely video for it. This song will really always make me think of Sephiroth. :D Awesome video!

This is an absolutely AMAZING video! This song fits Sephiroth and Jenova so perfectly that it's scary. Sephiroth has always been my favorite FF villian (haters to the left!) because he's so pitiable. Sure, he was a complete monster by the end, but you can still feel sorry for the guy.

Awesome job! I've been watching/listening to this all afternoon and it really depicts who Sephiroth really is. It's sad, mournful, meloncholic, yet triumphant at the same time. This video IS his personality after he found out how he came to be, who is mother is, and what the human race was doing, and kind of lost it. I mean, any of us would probably have a similar reaction to news like that . Flawless. I'd take of my hat to you if I had one.

i have a question, after the battle with Cloud and Sephiroth, what happened to Jenova? sorry i tried skimming through the games and couldn't find it. By the way the video along with the music really captures Sephiroth in another light besides just the rival of Cloud, but then it might just be me.

That answer was never provided. Jenova's body was fought in the Northern Crater as Jenova Absolute, so her physical form was destroyed, but parts of her remained in Cloud and the other Sephiroth Clones. If you're taking AC as canon, it was this continued cellular presence that caused Geostigma, and Jenova managed to infiltrate and pollute the lifestream as well.

Yeah, no. Lucrecia didn't owe Valentine anything and she was a scientist who was as interested in the genetic modification of her son as Hojo was. She's BETTER for feeling any twinge of guilt or remorse, not more evil or more culpable. The blame should be evenly split between Lucrecia, Hojo, Gast, and the Shinra zeitgeist that drove the project to existence. Vincent's no innocent himself, either.

Well, there's two versions of that. The orginal one and the DoC one. In the original, Vincent was in luv with Lucrecia, but she didn't give a damn about him. There's a incredibly sad cutscene with Hojo holding Lucrecia and little Vincent standing there thinking "If that makes her happy, then its okay with me". Well, Lu and Hojo do nasty adult things, make Sephy and experiment on him - but the whole thing had terrible side effects on Lu, so Vincent complained to Hojo claiming that experimenting

Hojo shoots Vincent and does some nasty experiments on him, which are to blame for the powers he has in FFVII. Saad Story. JENOVA was alive, but in a different way than humans are I suppose.

She speaks to those which have her cells, so she is alive on a subconscious level. But not necessarily in the same way that we are. Plus I think she was damaged or controlled while in that tank, as she never spoke to Sephiroth before he 'awakened'.

Anyway, good video. Captures the mood very well, I just think you could have made it flow and move in a more interesting and more captivating way.

He didn't know. Even Hojo himself stated that. Actually, Hojo planned on telling him when after helping him out with that mako canon, but as we all know, Cloud killed Hojo before he could tell Sephy. Sad Story. I guess Hojo cared for his kid... In his own, twisted, Hojo-like way....XD I don't think that it would chance the events a lot if he'd learned about his human parents after nibelheim as Hojo would agree with his world domination plans and he'd probably kill Lucrecia, but before that...

Wow, that was amazing. And thanks for using the footage of Cloud and Sephiroth fighting in the reactor. It's such a crucial scene, and no one ever uses it in their music videos! Great job. With all the remakes and sequels, it seems we keep getting more and more badguys, but none of them can compare to Sephiroth. For me, he and Cloud ARE Final Fantasy VII.

@Janiqua I totally agree with u. But to me, the sequels are very important 'cause they depict exactly what happened before FFVII. In Crisis Core u get to know Zack and ,at least for me, the end was very heartbreking. No matter what u do his death is inevitable. And in Dirge of Cerberus u get to know 1 of my fav characters, and the truth behind Sephiroth's birth. So I think the cretors made a hell of a job to complement the stories so well. =)
