@ShitMovies2000 that is due to the size of it's sensor the 5d Mark II feature a Full Frame sensor and that's means minimum noise at Both stills & Videos and higher sensitivity to light so it will give you a better video performance at high iso and at low light than a camcorder ... actually that is the advantage of any DSLR featuring HD Movies you will also get a great control over Depth of field so you can blur the background to make the main subject clearer.

It's about lenses anyway. Canon 550D has some good video features and great quality for the price. Maybe you have something like that already? Then you just have to save some money for a period of time. :)
