  • wait this isn't selena gomez's love song......GOOD THING TOO.

  • this brings me back to the days in high school good times its funny when i listen to 90's alternative and get an instant flashback to the good old days

  • That was one of my favorite songs to listen to when I was in middle school. How I forgot this until now.

  • @LakeShaman lmfao, that playlist was exactly what i listened to.

  • Great song

  • I would like to thank Much Music for being bad ass Music TV station when I was growing up in the 90's. You played every genre without prejudice and gave every band their shot.

I would religiously watch the MM countdown to see how long "Wonderwall" by Oasis would stay at #1, or to see if "One of us" by Joan Osborne would be a one hit wonder.

Without you I would not know what good music is, and would probably think acts like Beyoncé and Justin Bieber were geniuses.

  • @EinsteinsApprentice1 I miss them days.

  • Great song! They were great in concert too.

  • Dude I love this song, I grew up listening to it. God econonline crush is so underrated. =(

  • I saw this vid in 1997, and have been trying to figure out what song it was since then... had no idea whatsoever it was by these guys.

The sad thing? I've seen Econoline Crush in concert 3 times! hahahaha

  • 2:35 has always been my favourite part of the video <3

  • @LakeShaman When I went to go see Econoline Crush in high school, Stabbing Westward opened for them. They were both fantastic live.

  • this is my favorite econoline crush song too, and one of my favorite rock songs..ever. all I can say is im so glad to see im not the only one who still listens to the stuff from the good old days..i love 90s rock and i hate the top 40 crap everyone listens to at the clubs and what not. glad to see im not alone! thanks a lot for posting the vid

  • @wumpascott I agree. Cheers!

  • @LakeShaman also jet set satellite with the best way to die song

  • Esta es otra genial, la batera ......me gustaba tamb una llamada Elegant. RECOMENDADO ese grupo.

  • definitly their best song. that album was one of the highlight of that quick pop-industrial-rock wave that came by when nin and manson went mainstream. good times.

  • I love this song! I would kill to see them live!

  • Blast from the past not so much. Big Wreck is still around just with different members and called Thornley after the lead singer. And I'm gonna see Econoline Crush live on Wednesday night so just remember: Real music never dies.

  • @DPV111 where di EC play?

  • HOLY FUCK

    A BLAST FROM THE PAST

  • Not too big on the song, but I'm admired that the beat works great.

  • @LakeShaman I Mother Earth! C'Mon man they were the best of all!, but Big Wreck has the best singer, in my opinion.

  • @LakeShaman oh yeah i remember them... i totally forgot about them until i read your comment about vag lol...

  • this song was their best. sparkle and shine was catchy, but this song was the tits

  • very underrated band. I remember back in the day when godsmack opened for these guys. Whew...Time flys...

  • it's so unfortunate that Econoline Crush were so underrated... they were so amazing!!! Still listen to their stuff...

  • I remember when Kardinal Offishall and Econoline Crush opened for Godsmack at the Warehouse in Toronto. Seriously.

  • This was one of my favorite's they had. In the video he reminds me of a vampire though.

  • memories of being 12 again.

  • First time I heard the song WICKED on 99.3 (The Fox) in Vancouver, I was hooked.

Can't wait to hear what the new album will be like (I hear they're working on it).

  • Much music used to be really awesome back in the late '90's playing more music than shows. But things have really changed these days, they hardly play any music at all anymore!

One thing that frustrates me about Econoline is they are always breaking up and getting back together again, or changing the line-up. Make up your mind already and keep coming out with great songs!

  • I hate that too when bands keep losing and gaining members. I understand some of these guys get sick of it or have a side project, but kicking them out just to switch it's ridiculous.

  • Holly shit! Never heard of these guys and I came across this totally by accident. But I absolutely love this!!!

  • Saw these guys in Halifax opening for kiss, never heard of them before that but now I'm a huge fan!!! Awesome band!!

  • typical one hit wonder....hot blond in the video for sure

  • They've had a few hits, actually.

  • right!pwnage :D

  • cool band saw them twice what happened to them?

  • This was my absolute favorite song from them, still is today! I think Trevor Hurst was such a hottie, and I love the beats in this song.

Much Music sure isn't what it used to be, I really enjoyed Video Flow and watching all the vids from the different bands. Now all they have are crappy shows all day, what's the point in having a music station if they're not going to play any music?!

  • much music sucks cause CTV owns it,and CTV also owns MTV canada.

  • I totally love how the chick pulls out the umbrella so casually. X3 Awesome song.

  • What's that an ass? X3? X marks the spot?

  • o...................m........................g

  • yeh yeh yeh

  • Good call. "Home" is my favourite of their's too :)

  • i watch mm and i have 2 agree, rememeber the dayz when videoflow was all day because they nothing better 2 do.

  • correction this is why little no talent fags like myourself disappear

  • What the hell do you know. ass.

  • "....take me hoooOOO00me !"

  • i seen them live and he gave me a drum stick

  • my fav

  • Good driving song! :D

  • it IS a good driving song!

they've been in my top 5 favourite bands since i was 11. So great.

  • Wonderful vocals backed up by solid synth and guitar riffs :)

  • And I like the key on 'she SAYS'..

  • I remember seeing this when Much Music was still excellent. Still love this band.

  • yeah fuse sucks. =(

  • much music was excellent until 95.. when steve anthony left. so did the awesomeness. in 00, george stromboneopoliods brought in the era of crap that still flourishes today.

  • hahahhah ya george stormpolobis sucks

  • I a new fan ever since I Dirty on th radio. I liking them already!

  • One of my favourite EC songs! Glad you guys are back!

  • love these guys

  • These guys have been and always will be one of my favs...I used to play the hell out of this CD. E.C. RULEZ!!

  • Econoline crush RULEZ as does 13 Engines

  • PHENOMINAL

  • Thanks for the upload! what a wicked song and video

  • mmhh...

  • i am buying there new cd lol

  • I met the lead singer a couple years back. Seemed like a pretty low-key kinda guy. They were doing a small venue for the College I went to.

  • I'm going to the concert here in Vancouver. They sound pretty good, I was a bit worried. But Three Days Grace and Seether are a bit better. XD

  • greenlice93 im going to that concert =P can't wait

  • They're gonna be opening for 3 Days Grace, and Seether in Sault Sainte Marie, Ontario. Just making sure they were o.k., and they are, but they just don't seem to fit in with the other two bands on tour. It sucks though, Wisconson got 3 Days Grace, Seether, AND Breaking Benjamin! Oh Well, Just have to settle for these guys.

  • I just came back from the concert in Sault Sainte Marie, Ontario and I found them pretty good for an opening, I was expecting something much less at the live, but I found them enjoyable.

  • Always loved the vocal and the fact that it was heavely influenced by Industrial, kind of before its time still today. Great song!

  • The video was similar to the videos constantly used by industrial bands as well (ie dark backlighting, strobing flashes, etc) Pretty awesome.

  • OMG, their Ottawa concert at Zaphod's was amazing. Watch for their solo concerts in your town, because they will do some in between the Three Days Grace concerts.

  • Econoline Crush, Seether and Three Days Grace are all coming to town for a rad show :D

  • i see them !!!monday 14 january 2008..

    (montreal)

  • i get to see them on the 18th in toronto!! HOORAY!!

  • did you grow up in the ninetys these guys rocked much music even though they used drop d tuning but who cares i wish i could play with them they always play calgarys bar scene and edmontons bar scene i wish they'd play the sask bar scene especially since im from prince albert they played her but i wasnt bar age but fuck if they come here again

  • thanks so much for this video!

  • OMFG I have been looking for this for EVER! mad thanks

  • I just so luuved this song when it came out, it's a great tune about thinking you've found that woman and the sad truth you'll sometimes be faced with: "She says I'm the one she really wants, but I'll never be the one that she needs." Just great!

  • Daaaaaaamn :) haven't heard this song in years!

  • I adore this song - it's my favorite from them. The entire The Devil You Know CD is freakin' awesome, imo. The strange thing is, I had never ever seen the video for this song. In fact, I never even knew they made one for it. I don't know how I missed this, so thanks a lot for posting it up. :)

  • No problem. (:

What videos [and versions of them] you catch and miss really depends on what channels you watched and at what times as well. Some luck helps too. xD

  • @FelixLaPoubelle It was the first single/video out for "The Devil You Know" I remember this came in Canada in like June of 1997.

  • Cool video! One of my favorite bands.

  • Always nice to have a length of rope handy in your car..........0_o

  • This is my favorite song from them, too! They used to be one of my favorite bands, too. :)

  • Love the song. Can't wait to see them. Less than two weeks! (Fingers crossed on getting tickets)

  • Trevor Hurst is the man and always will be when it comes to good ole raw electronic rock and industrial rawness........................

  • i seen them last night in brooks alberta

  • i heard the remix version of "surefire" on the radio today, and i was like "wow this freaking awesome". i cant wait till the new CD comes out

  • Wait, what? Remix of Surefire? I need more info on that! :)

  • met them at edgefest at race city years ago awesome band glad to see the fan base still holds there own in the west. go and find purge/psyche best song they did and it was on the first albume

  • im gonna go see them friday at my school!!

  • Thanks for the vid.I saw them in Calgary at Mount Royal College.I can't remember the venue but I'll remember the concert. An absolute fucking gem.I met Hurst backstage and he's an original

  • EEek yeah i sure am. That will be fucking rad:D:D

  • Econoline Crush is comeing back?!

  • Yeah. They've announced some concert dates for mid-late December now as well. If you're in Western Canada, you should check it out. xD

  • Looovvee this song and video. Miss Much Music so much.

  • Yeah me 2, Fuse sucks...

Can't wait for the Econoline Crush/Hurst tour in 07

  • could you upload Never enough? ive been looking for it and I cant find it T_T

  • You probably haven't found it because it's not called "Never enough". The song is called "Surefire", and is actually my all-time favorite Econoline Crush song. As far as I know, there is no video for Surefire.

  • I have been told the song and have the actual MP3 and they are both Econoline Crush - Never Enough O_o

  • You have the mp3? I have the album. People misname things all the time when they don't really know what they are. "Never enough" is a common error for Surefire, because people are too lazy to see past the chorus. xP

  • thanks for the heads up still sucks I wont be able to find it on youtube although Ive heard 2 versions of the song and I cant find the MP3 of the one I want

  • But Surefire was only released on The Devil You Know. The only differences between the Canadian and American releases of that album is that one has some extra tracks. Are you sure that both versions of the song you've heard are authentic?

  • no I origionally first heard the song on a FFXI Video and when I got the MP3 off a friend it sounded different the only way I can describe is it didnt have the high pitched guitar in it

  • Depending on who ripped the song, the quality may be different. Also, the sound quality could be further reduced by the program the FFXI creator used.

I'd have to check to be sure, but I think the one you got with the higher pitched guitar is actually closer to the CD-quality song.

  • i figured but the song sounds sexy without it aswell

  • my most favorite song of all time!! thx for uploading it

  • No problem! :3

  • This is my most favorite song by Econoline Crush.

  • This is different than the one in Launch!

  • That must be the version I was trying to find a couple years ago. xD

  • Thanks for uploading this! I still dig it after all these years.

And I'm a straight dude, but Trevor is one sexy man-man.

  • Perfectly awesome !
