The only problem is the jig is $799, and accessory kits are around $249 each. Add it all up and its a bit pricey. You can get a decent, dedicated mortiser for less. Most people have a table saw, so just buy a jig to make the tenons.
the process it lengthy, what if the peice of wood is longer that the hieght of the jig? if am making a table that is 6x4 feet.. I cant make a tenon on the side rails that can be 4 or 6 feet long.. can I?
Sumbook: I don't have one of these jigs myself, so I don't know if it would be posible to orient the router horizontally.
If the router absolutely has to be in a vertical position, the jig seems small enough that mounting in an elevated position would probably not be all that hard. If you had a very long rail (12 feet, for example), you could probably mount the jig over a stairwell, etc.

I love this thing, but is it worth it?

Excellent video - clear and concise. I would like to see how a double or quadruple mortise and tenon is done.
Many thanks. Keep up the good work.
