i have the rubberized black version of this case. it seems pretty nice, hwoever there is still the possibility of something happening to the screen.. i guess with a touchscreen protection can be hard.

I use this clear case exclusively. Covering the touchscreen is "dumbing" the mobile and/or taking away a very useful interface of the platform especially if you have the CUBE or TouchFlo installed. I have replaced the plastic "nut" that holds it onto the clip with a metal nut. A thin metal washer reinforces the nut to the clear case. A really nice case that just needs a little tweaking to make it more secure.

No, not with the protector on. The purpose is to avoid accidental damage to the screen. It slips off easily to use the touch screen but many functions can be performed with just the buttons in any case.
