Well in the original monster hunter using clust shots was the only way to beat him really because he could one hit anybody. In mhfu you can actually use a melee weapon.
Bow is how I originally learned. I also found cluster shots from bowgun works even better. So either all face shots with bow or lots of body shots with cluster from bowgun.

@ukanlos71 , I'm not sure what you mean. What rank am I on 2ndG or Unite? On 2ndG I've been HR9 the whole time. On Unite I only got to like HR3 before I stopped playing. There are two Fatalis G rank quests for each one. There is one you can unlock that is a repel quest that usually takes 3 or 4 rounds to kill and they fly away after like 25 minutes each time. And then there is the download one where you HAVE to kill it in one round or you lose.

@doggleshewy , oh I've got the new DroidX phone from Verizon. So whenever I get a new e-mail it lets me know. And it has 3G and Wifi in it so pretty much no matter where I am I can view and reply to my messages if I feel like it. As for Shen, I recommend a dragon or fire damage long sword or dual swords. Cont
@doggleshewy , continued. If you can, try to get armor with quake resistance so you won't spend half the match shaking from him moving his feet. A good strategy is to get Mega Juice, duals and get on one leg and Devil Dance then step back so you clear his quake area when he stomps, then move to the leg and continue. I can't remember how many Devil Dances or combos you can get in before he moves. Basically the same thing with the LS if you don't have DS. Try to stay on the same leg as well.

i do like monster hunter but i die so much, i havent reached any high ranks or even to nekohts quests XD but i guess if it wasnt challenging i wouldnt like it that much. I dont really like bows but they are a good weapon against elder dragons

@ZtheRavemaster , bows are my favorite MH weapon. I like how you have to be good at dodging to use them because your defense is so low. And you have to have good aim. I really like light bowgun and Greatsword as well, but for Fatalis fights I prefer bow.

for those who want to know how to unlock black fatalis: you have to clear one weapon group for each training monster (for example: SnS and DS only, or GS and LS only) both regular and special. and kill all 4 elder dragon 5 time
to unlock crimson, kill fatalis once.
to unlock white, kill crimson once and slayed 3 fatalis (dosnt matter which)
now for G rank fatalis: same thing with HR6 but require to beat G rank training
i dont know how to unlock G rank crimson and white fatalis. whew.

It's the final form of "Dragonbow Earth" if I remember correctly. I think it's made from Lao parts or something like that. I haven't made it in years (made the first dragonbow in MHF2 & maxed it out then it had one new upgrade in 2nd G) so I don't remember what it took to make it. I'd suggest looking at a weapon guide on Minegarde Forums. You should be able to google that pretty easily.
Sadly no, but i really want one. It takes way too much care to just have one. You have to look after it and put it in shaping blocks and you need to put it in a very good temperature room.
All the info on how to unlock fatalis, how to set up kai, etc is in my profile description because I literally get asked these questions hundreds of times a month. Just click my name and read the fatalis info on the description, it tells you how to unlock Fatalis but I warn you it is not easy to do solo. Do you have anyone to help you?
that dragonator was one of the sadest Fails ive seen. nice kill through. i hate the zoom scope for the bow, it slows you down and makes quick getaways harder
and what about red fatalis I can't get him ran away but at his belly is a scare which is usually not on. when I lose is he healthy or is his health like the last time I hurt him??
If you hurt him enough he will run away after 25 minutes or more IF he is the unlocked one. If you downloaded him you HAVE to kill him, he won't run. Any damage is accumulated. And Crimson Fatalis is my hardest to kill as well.

Finish every monster in the regular training school with at least one weapon. Meaning just beat every monster in training at least once. There should be like 10, I think. Unlocking and defeating the Red Ceanataur and Rajang are probably the hardest ones.

The legs of a Fatalis do the least damage and scatter shots do less than anything else on Fatalis, so scatter on the legs is probably as low of damage as you can do. I do rapids 99% of the time to his face so not sure why you thought I wasn't using it. The rare times when I do pierce is because either he has landed facing me and I want to pierce through his head and down his neck or if I just want to get a longer or more accurate shot.
ok i understand,but when i use dr.bow meteor with scatter at legs i can beat every fatty really fast,and after some experiments i noticed that i killed fatty faster with scatter atr the legs than piercing the face,but this is just me...no offense
I only use the bow when I can get the 4th charge on it for rapid. A lot of people spam scatter on his legs because it makes him fall more and is an easier target to hit. I've found that fewer shots to the face that are higher charged do a better job than constant spamming of low level shots to the rest of his body. However, cluster shots do an even better job but takes less skill. Hitting a moving Fatalis in the face with rapid is something that not many people can do without getting hit.

Flash bombs, lol. But as far as a real weapon, I like using dragon Greatswords on him. Don't use range because his wind pressure will blow the bow shots back at you.
devil slicer or red dragonsword(higher levels of these weps work better fuh but eager cleaver works well to...but it will be impossible to kill him first round)

This Fatalis was damaged at the start of the quest which means he is the 1 that runs after 25mins if lots of damage is done to him but here is the question how do u unlock this G ranked Fatalis.
I think Loading, Load Up and Evade+2. I don't have that armor set anymore since it was on a save file that got deleted accidentally and I had to start over but never made this set again.
Thanks. I use bow the most and fought all the Fatalis enough to know their patterns, so it is the result of hours and hours of fighting them. Have you fought White or Crimson yet?
Well once I finally beat White Fatalis I actually wanted to fight him again and again, lol. But I know what you mean. I was like that with Rajang at first and now I like using GS on him as well as bow.
Well I've killed more White Fatalis than any of the other ones combined so you just have to learn his patterns. The way I learned is by fighting him like 30x before killed him. The best thing to do is to go in there with a slow weapon like hammer and learn how to spot his attacks coming and how to dodge them then counter attack. Once you can do that with hammer you can with anything. Or you can just watch my White Fatalis solo video for tips, lol.
That's why when my friends and I meet up we all exchange the crap out of them. We all save before going into the guild hall and then everyone gives one person all their extracts and that one person saves and the other people don't save. Then we go around taking turns till we all have like 500 power extracts and that keeps us over till we can meet up again. We do that with all the items we use a lot of like flashbugs and bomb material and lifecrystals, etc.
Can you obtain a Evil Eye in rewards without breaking its head?

You have to buy the upgrades from the guy walking around near the farm entrance. If you can't buy them yet it is because your Hunter Rank is too low.

Mining point +3 doesn't really get you a lot of them
Mining point +4 gets you more and I gathered a lot of Union Ore by doing G rank gathering quests in the volcano area.

and what about red fatalis I can't get him ran away but at his belly is a scare which is usually not on. when I lose is he healthy or is his health like the last time I hurt him??

If you hurt him enough he will run away after 25 minutes or more IF he is the unlocked one. If you downloaded him you HAVE to kill him, he won't run. Any damage is accumulated. And Crimson Fatalis is my hardest to kill as well.

If he is G Rank and you are by yourself, it usually takes about 5-7 matches before you can kill him.

Finish every monster in the regular training school with at least one weapon. Meaning just beat every monster in training at least once. There should be like 10, I think. Unlocking and defeating the Red Ceanataur and Rajang are probably the hardest ones.

I use paralysis a lot when I'm in a group as well. Kai is somewhat hard to set up. Especially if you don't have Wifi Max.

hey really nice job but isnt it wrong to be using pierce at fatas head?pierce is good if ya wanna harm the whole monster,not a particular part.i would suggest rapid for this job.also this bow might do a lot more damage if you used scatter at the legs.correct me if im wrong:D

The legs of a Fatalis do the least damage and scatter shots do less than anything else on Fatalis, so scatter on the legs is probably as low of damage as you can do. I do rapids 99% of the time to his face so not sure why you thought I wasn't using it. The rare times when I do pierce is because either he has landed facing me and I want to pierce through his head and down his neck or if I just want to get a longer or more accurate shot.

ok i understand,but when i use dr.bow meteor with scatter at legs i can beat every fatty really fast,and after some experiments i noticed that i killed fatty faster with scatter atr the legs than piercing the face,but this is just me...no offense

I only use the bow when I can get the 4th charge on it for rapid. A lot of people spam scatter on his legs because it makes him fall more and is an easier target to hit. I've found that fewer shots to the face that are higher charged do a better job than constant spamming of low level shots to the rest of his body. However, cluster shots do an even better job but takes less skill. Hitting a moving Fatalis in the face with rapid is something that not many people can do without getting hit.

Unfortunately not. Fatalis, Lao Shan Lung, Gypceros, Khezu, Hypnoc and Kut Ku can't have their tails cut off.

Flash bombs, lol. But as far as a real weapon, I like using dragon Greatswords on him. Don't use range because his wind pressure will blow the bow shots back at you.

This Fatalis was damaged at the start of the quest which means he is the 1 that runs after 25mins if lots of damage is done to him but here is the question how do u unlock this G ranked Fatalis.

I think Loading, Load Up and Evade+2. I don't have that armor set anymore since it was on a save file that got deleted accidentally and I had to start over but never made this set again.

Thanks. I use bow the most and fought all the Fatalis enough to know their patterns, so it is the result of hours and hours of fighting them. Have you fought White or Crimson yet?

Yeah.. It's the same story. 4 battles for each of them.
Ranged weapons seem to be the safest way to hunt them.
The Survival skill was the only reason i was able to defeated the White Fatalis.
It took to long so that I didn't want to do it alone ever again.
Just like the Golden Rajang G-rank Training, no way I'm doing that again using melee weapons! The bow did the job quick though.

Well once I finally beat White Fatalis I actually wanted to fight him again and again, lol. But I know what you mean. I was like that with Rajang at first and now I like using GS on him as well as bow.

Well I've killed more White Fatalis than any of the other ones combined so you just have to learn his patterns. The way I learned is by fighting him like 30x before killed him. The best thing to do is to go in there with a slow weapon like hammer and learn how to spot his attacks coming and how to dodge them then counter attack. Once you can do that with hammer you can with anything. Or you can just watch my White Fatalis solo video for tips, lol.

That's why when my friends and I meet up we all exchange the crap out of them. We all save before going into the guild hall and then everyone gives one person all their extracts and that one person saves and the other people don't save. Then we go around taking turns till we all have like 500 power extracts and that keeps us over till we can meet up again. We do that with all the items we use a lot of like flashbugs and bomb material and lifecrystals, etc.
