Sure this song is mature, but I would rather see her dance to this than "hey big spender" She is trying very hard, you can tell. good job for a 12 year old. hope your still dancing, and didnt let these comments get to you.
We need to remember art and the expression of art is subjective. Some people like things and some people don't them and that is ok. But please remember that she was 12 YEARS OLD when she did this. She picked the song and edited it, choreographed the dance and designed the costume herself. She did it at her house, not with a teacher helping her. So we can like it or not, it is still amazing that a 12 year old did this.
I don't think the song or the choreography is too mature, but i do think the way she's dressed is. ...and i'm 21 so its not like i'm an old lady or anything. I just think her top is too much for a girl her age, and doesnt fit the song or her body at all. This routine would me visually better and more convincing if she had dressed differently.
I've been dancing for 16 years and jeeze this girl is way better than me XD although I feel some of the moves do not match well with the song and like others said it is very mature for her, but she is definitely displaying her talent and this is a beautiful dance

I danced to this song when I was a senior in high school back in 2005. Makes me feel old. You were 12 and I was 18, doing the same song. Either way, it was beautiful. And I will argue that it's not too mature. I was 13 when I did a number to silent all these years by Tori Amos, and got the "it's too mature for her" nonsense. I understood the song, and related well to it. I would have gotten a platinum had they not docked me for that. Great job!
my dance team just did a dance to this song; it was so beautiful, its not too mature for you, your really stepping it up a notch. & that is AMAZING for choreographing it as a 12 year old. keep it up! your a beautiful little dancer, & you'll only get better :)

i'm glad other dancers on here thought this was WAY TOO MATURE for her...not her fault, she's a great little dancer...needs better feet, but still...some really nice lines...i am just sick of dance competitions trying to do lyrical when all they care about are tricks...this song was not interpreted well at all
i agree. this song should be performed by someone a bit older. on the other hand, it was a good performance. make ur movements sharper and use more emotion tho. this is a very emotional song. nice use of leg flexibility. i used to dance. thats how i know all this :P good job tho!
