I checked out the other version bc of the comments....That cover lost all of the emotion of this song. This song just oozes with desperation. The other is just produced to sound like every other rock song on the radio.  Nobody else singing a song like this could even compare to whoever poured their soul into it in the first place.

I think both versions, Hast and the GGdolls are Brilliant, I prefer the Haste version, but that's just me, the creative rights and blah belong to the Goo Goo Dolls, and I wouldn't dare call this version shit. What comparison to be made is almost unmeasurable. its just a stylistic re-recording, one light rock and the other Hardcore/whatever metal. which some people can't differentiate. Which makes my Kitty Sad. :(
