  • HIGHLIGHTS OF THE PEICE: altos through up exceptional beginning ugh thats awesome sound! 0:27 sopranos/and the way it faded away in 0:29! men at 0:30 and the fade at 0:34

    BRAVO!

  • Excelllent job you all! You're director did his homework and your attention to detail is excellent. You are better than some of the professional and college choirs out there. BRAVO! I hope to see some of your faces at my college :)

  • omg i remember dr.jessop made the bass 2's add extra low e flats just beccause lol. This year was jus amazing

  • i'm the shortest one on the top row. -_-' that's what i get for putting 5'9" as my height and then wearing flats.

  • I loved being in this choir!!!!!!!! DAH!!!!! and this past years with Dr. Snow....I HOPE I MAKE IT THIS YEAR AGAIN!

  • good luck to you

  • Oh my gosh this is absolutely amazing. I had chills! Especially at 1:10-1:23. Congrats, you guys! I wish my All-State choir was this good!

  • I will never forget this, for all my life, singing this song, with this choir, chilling and emotional! AND AMAZING!

  • so I love it when a camera is on me when I'm doing low notes its just awesome from 0:50 to 1:06 I'm the guy with the blondish hair top left/middle

  • don't you just love choral close-ups? heh.. how was it working with Craig Jessop? he's pretty incredbile huh. was this your first time in All-State? i was in 95, 96, 97..with John Rutter that year. eh, it was alright. 95 with Andre J Thomas was the best.

  • I was first alternate bass 2 '06, made it '07, and '08. The experience with Jessop was great! I will always remember that that all-state year b/c it was my senior year and he was the director.

  • Nice. So, studying music now? Where at? I didn't pursue a music degree, and of course my daytime job has nothing to do with music. Although, I've done mostly church stuff off and on in Dallas, where I live since college.

  • would you happen to have any recording of that...Andre J Thomas conducted New Mexico Mixed too on 2008 but i already graduated so it sucked but he picked some cool songs! and John Rutter? wut an honor would that have been!!!!!!!

  • oh shit!! lol this is some performance right here.. talk about an eye tearing performance.. dis is something that will last once a lifetime but in memory, eternity.. i wish i wouldve never graduated high school.. lol

awesome job guys!!! probably one of the best performance of this song ive heard in a really long time.. and im only 20 lol

  • Beautifull. Especially your dynamics are STUNNING!!!

However, in your reaction on our version, I think that there is also something to say for the quicker way. Especially if you're doing the whole vespers, like we did. If you don't do that, everything will sound the same...

  • Okay, so I'm the guy in the red robe. That was the most embarrassing thing ever! I'm hoping my choir director will let me wear a tux this year. lol

  • lol don't be you are in one of the greatest choirs in the world it made you an individual

  • Haha, I assumed you forgot your tux. That's so sad! This choir is amazing; I especially love Dvorak's Gloria.

  • Ha, it's okay, everyone knows exactly who you are! Something to remember you by! Good times!
