  • ...@1:05 awesome HD...i dont understand why some people upload How-To-Videos in 240p...so silly!...

  • haters gonna hate lol too true anyway encline your customs are the best you inspired me to start customizing!!

  • Does anybody know weather the flat black will rub off even after dry brushing?

  • what kind of base coat did you use and what is the name of it

  • This was extremely helpful, thanks Encline. 2 Questions:

    1) do you have to seal this when finished?

    2) What does the difference look like between a black base w/ dry brush and silver base w/ black wash? Could you make your next tutorial on how to make washes?

Thanks again, this was much appreciated. =)

  • Do more of these kinds of vids!...please!

  • Does krylon flat black work as the base coat ?

  • did you take it a part to paint it black?

  • i thought these things would take hours to pant but u managed that in what im geussing was about 45 minutes if u add what was sped through

  • @EternalGabriel101 nope, that is the great thing about dry brushing... the longest part though is letting the base coat dry.. which I would suggest following the directions on the paint.

  • thanks, im feeling inspired man :)

  • wow that is a great video. great.. the figures is shown well and instruction is clear. as you are a paint expert what is the relation of the brush to the paint? any type of hair is ok?

  • @robotadventures thanks!! umm, I pretty much use an inexpensive square tip brush for dry brushing. but if you can, get you hands on platypus hair tipped brush...haha..

  • @EnclineDesigns im killing a platypus asap and plucking the most sensative hairs.. anus and ear hairs

  • awesome figure..but i just hate how the eyes make him look like a turkey instead of a predatory bird

  • @KRiderMan1248 yeah, he does look like a tin foil turkey.

  • dude this tuturial was so helpful i used it on my ha roadbuster and it really brought out the detail of those grey parts on the weaponized mode. but to be honest i got a little impatient at times and i didnt wait for the paint to dry completely and it mixed but it still looks good. thanks for the great tuturial

  • It's funny you said, "Hopefully you got some good tunes in the background". I'm listening to Rush as I watch this.

  • @somarriba333 yeah, it is funny I said "good" and you said RUSH..haha... oh snap... I think I had WITHIN TEMPTATION going on!

  • @EnclineDesigns Well now I'm listening to Edge Of Sanity.

  • When you sprayed the flat black base, did you disassemble the figure or was it not necessary? Is that a primer or just paint? Is a sealant varnish necessary after drybrushing? Lastly, how would you go about sanding down the joints, especially ball joints and pin-less friction hinges?

  • What kind of red paint did you use?

  • awsome video

  • lol from 1:33 to 1:55!

  • I will Have Fun! Thank You

  • David! Awesome video, bro! Been a long time! Nice seeing you keep busy as always! Still lovin' my custom figures that I got from you ages ago now! :-)

  • I've to try that with my valkyries

  • don't you need to shake the paint before use? when i use enamel paint the pigment and the carrier always end up separated. what kind of paint is that?. anyone? thanks.

  • @dismantle123 theses in the vid are acrylic... and if you need to shake the paint..then I would suggest shaking them.. don't over think it...just have fun with it..

  • @EnclineDesigns thank you sir. appreciate your response.

  • @dismantle123 The Citadel paints are pretty much water based acrylic paints from what I know. Still, it's always a good idea to shake the paints as there will always be some kind of settling of the pigments over time.

  • @emarae thank you sir. appreciate your response.

  • interesting. :)

  • You made it look easy lol Great Video.

  • Thank you for the tips iv been trying to figure out what dry brushing is :) and it actaully looks pretty damn sweet

  • best "how too" vid in aaaaaaaaaages!

  • better then my shitty lasebeak

  • can you video review Leader Shockwave? it gives a better look at the figure then just pictures

  • will you be spraying a flat top coat over this?

  • Is that clear red? and if so did you just apply it similar to the drybrushing? It has a pretty cool effect and I kinda wanna try it with other clear colors.

  • i know this is probably lame question to ask but how did you base coat lazerbeak? you do the same method or spray paint or airbrush?

  • @BattousaiTS I sprayed him with a flat base coat.

  • @EnclineDesigns oh simple.haha

    thank you though for answering

  • @BattousaiTS I wouldn't use spray paint.

  • also do u take the figures completelly apart? i do, but is it nescessary?

  • @jmacko516 sometimes... I took lazerbeak apart... for the most part.

  • @EnclineDesigns cool thanks alot, btw u make this really easy, great customs, and tutorials, guys like u shoul work for Hasbro, thanks again for the upload :)
