With regards to the debate here, anyone can understand that Julia is no match for "akasa Kusum" and "alimankada". Julia targets a primitive audience who are fed a daily dose of indian entertainment.Akasa Kusum won many awards as it is a film with a meaning and it is a creation that can make a difference in srilankan society.

I don't know if this is the most popular movie.. But quality wise it was not even 1% of films like 'Akasa kusum' and 'Alimankada' . As long as there are idiots like you people can make big money out of useless $hit with this being the prime example

I wtched Akasa Kusum and Alimankada. All I saw waz Malani fonseka Making patis, The girl who acted was very good but they only highlighted Malani coz the that girl has some LTTE issues. and Alimanka is Good with Acting no standates at all. It seems like the director has strugeled to raise the money for the film. Sorry to say that. I also study drama and fims in colombo uni. We are not fools.
