@midgetking101 Firstly, I'm an atheist. To ᴀssᴜᴍᴇ I am Christian or in any way religious is to make an ɪᴅɪᴏᴛ of yourself. I was pointing out some of reasons for the Christian's 'God' destroying Sodom & Gomorrah, that are in their 'so-called' ʜᴏʟʏ ᴛᴇxᴛ, but as RickMojave pointed out correctly, I did leave out; 6. Rape. Yale historian John Boswell offers reasons for the destruction of Sodom, one of which is men of Sodom had tried to engage in homosexual intercourse with the angels.
LiberalViewer must be responsible for at least half of my YouTube disappointments, when I click on a video expecting to see what is in the title but instead hear a dull monotone commentary.
@teton99 wait your saying you don't hate homosexuals but you hate homosexual acts? Does it matter if they can procreate or not, surely all that matters is that two people love each other,
The truth of the language of sexuality is also missing in sexual relationships
between people of the same gender. Homosexual acts themselves, not the person with a homosexual orientation, are objectively & gravely immoral because there is no communion of body and spirit which facilitates openness to the procreation of new life. Homosexuality undermines the truth, fullness & wholeness of sexual communion The Theology of the Body
@360stevie No, I wasn't suggesting the children did any of that! 1. I am not Godly, I am an atheist. 2. I was pointing to some other YouTube user, the name I forget and forgot to use when I made the comment, this "person" made a comment about homosexuality similar to the video response above, "Sodomy homosexuality sins of the men of Sodom," that Sodom was destroyed by God because of homosexual men. 3. As for children, well we all know how "loving" God is! 4. I visited your channel, Fallout 3!
@FPSAntarctica My apologies, I am an atheist. I didn't mean to imply the bible was factual, just that the reason that Sodom was destroyed (along with Gomorrah) was not because homosexual men (sodomites), but for many other reasons that Christians conveniently "forget" and blame homosexuals. I am well aware the Christian bible is the best selling work of fiction in history!
i feel like liberal viewer in the name makes it bias even though i consider myself a liberal i try to be open to new ideas (im not very good at it but i try)
If you ever decide to READ the Bible you will find the real reasons why God destroyed Sodom. Here are some of crimes that the citizens of Sodom were accused of:
In all this game, the devil is the victim, is the scapegoat, will be acused of everything cause the GOD don’t want any rivals*. Conclusion: live at the full in the freedom of GOD (praying in a right form,following the INSTRUCTIONS in the Bible - keeping the 10 commandments - including keeping the Saturday as the 7th day etc.) instead of in the incapacity and limited power of devil cause he is just a temporary puppet.
Christians love America...just because we don't agree with your viewpoint doesn't mean we hate America. Remember, OUR rights are just as important as YOUR rights. Majority means "the greater part or number; the number larger than half the total". 51 is more than 50, so yes, it IS a majority. The majority of people of Cali. voted that they wanted this Prop to pass...so it should stand.
@megan2478 scuse me in advance but dont you think your being ignorant? America should not vote on minorities basic rights, LGBT are a minority and are citizens like everyone else whether you approve or not is regardless. This isnt a prop where we vote for medical marijuana to be legal or one that will reduce pay for teachers, those should stick whatever the decision but on this case you are severely mistaken.
Marriage is not a right...just as driving a car is not a right. The right to be in a relationship was not taken away...nor was the right to love each other. 'Basic Rights' are those things which one requires to live: air/food/water/shelter...these are basic rights. Yes, they are still citizens...never disagreed with that. But the people of Cali were voting on changing the wording of a law...and since the majority voted to keep the wording the same, then it should stand.
@megan2478 its still more magical to be married than in a civil union or relationship (im not th other person you were speaking with ive made that mistake before)
@megan2478 im sorry but are you Miss Usa whats with you speaking for America? speak for yourself hunny cause im in The USA aswell and do not agree and over a quarter of americans are with me, prop 8 won by a hair so seriously speak for yourself.. and secondly your a stupid cunt for your re-response and third im a Christian too so no need to speak for me bitch.
LOL! So, when I disagree with you and make a point WITHOUT calling YOU names, YOU automatically resort to calling me names? You preach tolerance, yet were completely INTOLERANT with me...Excellent way to get me to see your point. I never said I was 'speaking for America'...or that I was speaking for 'all Christians'. I was speaking for myself...Do YOU believe you are speaking for all of America and all Christians? If so, doctor heal thyself. :0p
your an idiot to speak for yourself or you wouldn't be going all "We America" on my ass which is condescending cause im apart of and i dont need your tolerance it wont give me my rights. The supreme Court will make this legal because history repeats itself and majority of Americans are idiots who don't learn discriminating is NOT okay and i gave up on you when your response was the exact one i already replied too. which leaves me to say, fuck you. :]
LOL again! There was nothing condescending about what I said...you are angry b/c I don't agree with your belief. & you are making sweeping generalizations as well (the majority? where are your statistics coming from?). If you had given up on me, then you would have stopped posting, not post more hate speech...Just b/c someone doesn't agree with you doesn't mean they are an idiot...it means they don't agree with you. And I don't agree with you...have a wonderful evening :0)
actually just because you disagree with me on THIS subject makes You a fucking idiot!! not the disagreeing itself, you clueless fucking moron, bye bye now.
@leo1999star He is not uploading straight rips of Daily Show clips for your entertainment. He is making commentary and putting together his own videos. If you don't like it, don't watch it. It's really that simple you jackass.
@ianman6 I´d prefer Jon Stewart to make the commentary in a video whose title is Daily Show.... and wtf do you think you are to insult me??? you don´t even know me....!!!!!! you bastard!!!
To the second question, I answer No, because if 49% of a nation of people agree a certain way on something, that other 51% should not nullify their opinion!
...
The difference should be a lot greater for the question to be appropriately placed.
some day all sensible and normal people will be extremely outraged and will rage on all abnormal and non-sensible people, who aren't really people... I see them worse than animals... Gays and lesbians are freaks of society
@Tchernowizer Sorry to burst your bubble guy, but to be ''normal'' by definition you would have to make up the majority and the vast vast majority of people don't share your views on people who are gay being sub-animalistic. HERE'S THE KICKER, that puts you into the vast minority, making you abnormal, so when the revolution starts, you best hide. Now go drink a beer and watch some wrestling, chew on a piece of straw, play your banjo, fuck yourself........ and die doin' it. Retard!!!!!!!
To the first question, it is because chickens aren't icky to most people. To the second, no percentage of voters should be able to vote away the fundamental rights of others.
ACLU is a tool of the antichrist and is assisting in the communist created subversion of the west, Armies and warfare is expensive, much better to destroy the good elements of the society how are opposed to.
Okay, technically chickens were not given "rights" in this vote. Nonhuman animals don't have legal rights, period, in most countries. I believe the one exception is Germany, which recognizes that animals have (very limited) rights. The voters of California voted to pass welfare reforms, which most often do not actually help animals but actually just ease the conscience of people who benefit from their oppression.
The question of anyone's rights should not be up for a vote, I agree.
Who the heck are you liberalviewer? ;-) BTW, nice reference on James Madison, first time I ever heard a Lib reference one of our framers. Good job.
I'm a strong believer in state sovereignty, in a true Republic form. I'm also a believer in Originalism. So I could give a crap about California, that state is in trouble. But I don't think is fair someone from Texas speaking for me or vice versa. Your state matters, let your people decide.
I do believe if we have Originalists in the states Suprem
heres the thing, california may be a blue state, but it stil has a large religious population at the same time. and the religious population overshadows some democrats. this is what gave them an edge on the issue. whereas we dont have many farmers (except in some areas), and still a blue state so prop 2 (the chicken one) did not have as much support. with almost every election, there is always the largest conflict with religion and liberal policies, and religion seems to win more often

Personally, I really don't think that California is the state that should be able to decide anything on the matter.
Seriously, this is the state where on nearly every toiletry item it states, "this product may include ingredients that is known by the state of California to cause cancer"
I know cancer is a serious issue, but getting it by shampooing my hair or washing my nuts every day or every other day may cause cancer when I'm 40 or 50?
@KeithAguirre Thumbs up if you think Keith Aguirre is the person here most likely to be a closet case homosexual, desperately fighting personal demons about his own and his family's acceptance of his true sexual identity!!
Does your mind automaticly go to what you THINK goes on in bed when you think about homosexuals? If that's the case, then that makes you the nasty one, not us homosexuals.
Gay Marriage will come to California again very soon.))) just give it time and keep fighting for it. Equality and Love are only as strong as its supporters!
@SupernalOne - Reading you comment made me burn down a church. Stop it or I will burn down another and another and another. Go and suck the baby Jesus off and stop bothering everyone else with your fucking fantasies.
@TheGamingHost What would two people reproducing have to do with children dying from lack of water? WTF? Wouldn't you want a man-man and woman-woman couples to adopt and support those homeless children?
@TheGamingHost Those equations equal love, just as a man and a woman do. Should we really be worrying about procreation? I don't think the human race is on the endangered species list by any means.
Word problem: a devout Christian couple marries & wants to have a big family. The man has the Rh blood group antigen, the woman doesn't; & neither one knows their status (this is 50 years ago). The first child is born a little sickly but lives. Every following pregnancy ends in a dead or dying baby at birth. Then medical science invents RhoGAM, & nobody else goes through this (the couple still cannot have live children. Q: why did God allow the stillbirths to occur, what was the purpose?
@SupernalOne Answer: Because God likes putting babies into purgatory and to poke them with sticks and feed them vagina shavings.
Just a warning, this guy doesn't even know his own Bible, much less science. You'll just get another "God is right!" response, just like he gave me during our scripture war. I should note that s/he quoted only one scripture to me, basically saying if I believe in God, I will be saved. I quoted many others and he just said, "I'm not going to waste my time explaining."
This, from someone who rejects the God of the universe, and tries to lead others down the path of foolishness along with him (or her, whatever you are). I couldn't care less what you think of my knowledge. You have a much more serious problem than SupernalOne. At least they're open to the truth. With the closing of your mind and heart, you condemn yourself. Don't blame God when you stand before Him and tell Him you don't need Him. It's all on you.
That's the problem, the holy book is the ultimate source for all wisdom, & the natural world being Fallen cannot be trusted. An airtight belief system, but just one of many in the world - we see the absolute necessity for separation of church & state.
The bible indicates the earth is about 8000 years old - but but human remains in caves are 20,000 years old, there are trilobite fossils in the rocks of Grand Canyon - so science is untrustworthy, & God misleads us to test our faith
Rather than have you settle for reading the foolishness of others, I'd like you to see this moving forward. For however many thousands of years prior to RhoGAM, this happened sometimes, just as you said. When man searched for the reason, God gave us the technology and wisdom to find the answer, and the cure. God created Adam and Eve perfect, and innocent. When tested, they failed to obey Him by insisting on having the ONE THING He told them not to eat.
Yet, science (rational inquiry into natural cause & effect) is OK when it cures disease, but suspect when its results contradict the Bible. There's Galileo, threatened with torture by God's Church, for telling what we know now to be true -
No faith healer ever prevented hemolytic disease of the newborn, that took people of science, christian or not.
Religion keeps society in control, & provides comfort in the face of death. But how to tell absolutely that God is?
Speaking of, do you realize that you live every day of your life by faith? When you put the key in the ignition, you have faith that your car will start. When you drive down the road, you have faith that the other guy will stay on his side of the road, and not hit you head-on. I know some of the examples out there are based on scientific principle, but others are mostly, if not completely, matters of faith. All God asks is that you believe in Him and what He's told us.
Well, thanks for your sincerity & good intentions. I've tried in the past to have faith, but it simply feels like trying to convince myself - one can do it for a while, for a bible study group perhaps, but it's like attending someone's family reunion & being agreeable, no more - so for myself, I need to witness a miracle, see an angel, something to prove it all - words are just words, talk is only talk - science you can prove, but not God. And not all Xians are reasonable -
I've seen proof since I trusted Christ as my Savior, in 1978, mostly in the form of answered prayer, and I mean things that couldn't just 'happen'. There are two things to consider, if you're interested. First, he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who really seek Him. The religious rulers kept asking Jesus for a sign. They wanted miracles before they believed in Him. God says to believe FIRST, THEN He reveals himself to us....
....Second, the devil is real. He has a counterfeit for everything God does, sometimes many counterfeits. All the religions and cults are fakes. Once you know God personally through Jesus Christ, you can see the holes in his fakes. They look like swiss cheese. I get what you're saying about faith. But God came down here, took on a body, lived in our world with us, then paid the price for our sins. Is one step of real faith in Him too much to ask?
OK, thanks, I'll bear your words in mind - if reward follows faith, then one is answered at some point: faith up front seems a small price. (Doubt's always an issue, of course.) At least, as long as one has love for others, then the morality aspect doesn't take over.
In your Youtube page, you refer to the duly-elected US President as "mumbama" -- this sounds for all the world like you are a racist bigot. I now have to change my opinion of you to consider you demented, hateful, and dangerous. How can you pretend to be Christian in any real sense when you are so filled with spite? Get thee behind me, Satan -
To question God as to 'why all the evil in the world', which is legitimate to ask Him, there is no reason in the Bible to lay the blame at His feet. He made us; we sinned against Him. He gave us thousands of years to obey Hiim; we failed. He sent Jesus Christ to pay the price for our sins, so we could be forgiven; what are we doing? Some are believing and being saved, many are rejecting Him. He's given us 2,000 years now. The problem is our sin, not His lack of grace.
the biggest problem I see is that all we have in the world is Holy writ & people worshipping and fighting - Protestant vs Catholic wars occurred, the Inquisition - but it's all people saying "I speak for God, you are wrong, the Bible says so!" It's no different from a world in which there is no God & people make up religion for comfort & social control. Why is the omnipresent Deity invisible, inaudible, hidden? Why must we be damned if we fail to be convinced by talk alone?
But why is your holy book correct and the Koran, Book of Mormon, etc. are not? No one can prove anything. Your arguments are self-consistent but lack reference to any sort of Divinity that can be perceived as such, without being pre-programmed to interpret experience as being strictly Xian. Faith is all, sure - I could even believe, myself, but only with some real demonstration of God's existence to tip the balance. Otherwise, it's just this country's most popular religion
I understand your confusion, really. The devil has been studying manking ever since we were created. He knows every weakness and every possible way to trick and deceive us. Jesus called him the father of lies. And by the way, there is your proof. In spite of everything people throw at it, the Bible stands true. Jesus Christ is the proof of the God of the Bible. The angels called Him 'Immanuel'; God with us. No other 'faith' has a living God, because there IS only one.
Properly categorized, there are cults, religions, and there is Christianity. The cults ('Jehovah's Witnesses', Mormons, etc.) have their own 'book', or perversion of the Bible. The JWs have taken out or changed the verses that prove Jesus' deity. The Mormons have added SO much to the simple faith that God says is all we need to be saved and forgiven, they've become absurd. However, they both try to align themselves with contemporary Christianity, which is a damnable lie.
That sounds all sweet and patriotic, but it doesn't wash. The Constitution does NOT give homosexuals the right to 'marry'. In fact, there is no such thing as homosexual marriage. But I digress. The Constitution doesn't cover marriage at all. It doesn't give ANYONE the 'right' to marry a homosexual. So heterosexuals aren't guaranteed the 'right' to marry homosexuals either. How much more fair can it get?
As a point of compassion for fellow citizens who only want to find someone to love permanently, why should we not grant some marriage-type rights to gays and call it something else? After all, one can get married in a court house and never in a church, and it's still legal - if a religion wants to disallow marriage of gays, that's a religious matter. But there are other religions besides Xian, and they still get to marry. So church and state are separate, as they should be
Maybe it's time to discuss any objections to gay marriage (if there are any) that DON'T have to do with the Book of Leviticus. If none can be found, then maybe it's an issue of freedom of religion - if a person does not believe in the Old Testament condemnation of gay sex, then Xian mores should not be applied to their lives. It's not even an issue of public decency, not if people just get over seeing gay couples together. I mean, WTF -
So we're going to try to kick God out of marriage, the way public schools kicked Him out in the early 60s, hey? You have quite a superiority complex if you think you can do that. I have a better solution for you. Since this is God's universe, and you don't want to live by His principles, how about if you go somewhere and create your own universe? Because while you're here, you're under His authority, and He said homosexuality is a perverted lifestyle.
@theRightizright With all the religions in the world, there is no correct way to teach a religion in schools, therefore, it was booted from publicly funded schools. This also begs the questions: How do you know "God" exists? If so, how do you know (s)he created the universe? How do you know (s)he finds homosexuality perverted? If you quote the book of choice, you realize man wrote those books, not "God", right? You have the burden of proof to prove a negative.
Again, you are wrong. There is no burden of proof that my God exists. It is well documented by the very book I knew you would attack and try to discredit. The Bible was written THROUGH men, by God, over 1,500 years. The proof you seek is right in front of you. No 'religion' has a risen Savior. After living a sinless life, Jesus Christ allowed wicked men to crucify Him, then rose from the dead because God was satisfied with His sacrifice on our behalf.
@theRightizright At risk of this argument going in circles, man is fallible. Do you really know how the Bible was made? Books were voted in during the Council of Nicea to agree with a slanted viewpoint, since there were many books out there portraying Christ in many ways, and burned or discredited the rest. Look in actual historical records and Jesus is just another of a long line of astrological mythological beings that copied Egyptian and Persian stories.
I know more about how the Bible was 'made' than you'll ever know. Just by your babbling, you prove that you're clueless. 'Jesus is just another astrological mythological being'. There are NO historical records to prove your statement. You're throwing up anything to try to disprove something as real as you are. You've swallowed all the trash men have dredged up in recent years, and regurgitate it on here as proof. You should be ashamed of yourself for blaspheming God.
@theRightizright Another conservative that instead of providing proves, just rants and raves that the other side is wrong and attempting to insult. You're the one who messaged me after 7 months and spout nonsense. Do any quick google search for people that resemble Christ in mythologies(virgin birth, resurrection, etc). Just like Noah and the flood, Christ is just another of a long line of myths that's publicized as fact and not being able to stand scrutiny.
I expected you to make this attempt. You're no different than any other unbeliever who refuses to listen, accept the facts, and make a decision. This man who is God in the flesh, by His very existence, confronts you with a choice. You choose to believe in Him, after He did all this for YOU to make your forgiveness and redemption possible; or you deny Him, ignore Him, and face Him at a future date to answer for your own sins. I'm glad I made the right choice.
@theRightizright In your own words, you discredit yourself. You call me an "unbeliever" when you don't know my belief status and of what. You also have to think the word "belief" does not mean "know", therefore you don't follow facts yourself. It doesn't require intelligence to believe in a deity.
So I don't know your belief status? Allow me to quote you:
"How do you know "God" exists? If so, how do you know (s)he created the universe? How do you know (s)he finds homosexuality perverted? If you quote the book of choice, you realize man wrote those books, not "God", right?"
Now, if someone else said that to you, wouldn't you know he was an unbeliever? You don't talk about God that way and yet have faith in Him. If you're a believer, tell us how you came to believe.
@theRightizright You ever hear of the idiomatic term, "Devil's Advocate"? Not all christians are as closed-minded as you are.
I don't rule out that some deity exists but I also don't live my life through faith in the unknown. I'm sure an all-loving "God" would want me to live truth, not untruth, of my surrounding environment. I do this the best I can and some book from any religion needs some factual basis behind it for me to believe in it besides a few historical points here and there.
I have no idea what you're talking about me messaging you after seven months. I never messaged you before last week or so. Nevertheless, you're confused. You're so far out in left field concerning spiritual things, you're not even in the ball park. God says 'the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness unto him; neither can he know, because they are spiritually discerned'. And unlike your comments, that verse if taken in context.
@theRightizright I made my post 7 months ago. You made a comment I posted with nothing to back up what you're talking about other than a book that can't hold up to scrutiny from both theologians or historians as any form of "The Word of God".
That's also the big easy-out argument bible-thumping idiots have that all these verses that are all over the book is taken out of context when it's written plain as day in both old and modern-day english. Find a new defense.
What about you, appointing yourself God's champion? That's pretty egotistical. And was it God's universe during the age of Zoroastrianism? See, that's why we have separation of church and state in the US, because people get fanatical in defense of their own belief system, & come to hate those who believe otherwise. We need protection from "Christians" like you, who are nothing like Christ. Can't you focus on the good things that that hippie rabbi said, 2 millennia ago? Don't be a hater!
First you allow for sufficient leg-room for chickens, then you're going to have to chase the chickens and go back to hunting. Gay marriage was ok in the Roman Empire, so I guess we'll just going back to pre-Christian era and hunting for our own food.
I don't know if it's unconstitutional or not, but it's definitely wrong to skirt the will of the people and overturn a vote on an issue. The homosexual judge who did so in California should have disqualified himself from sitting on the case. But that's not how radical liberals work. They can't get their agenda shoved down the throats of the majority by being passive. They have to govern, or judge, AGAINST the will of the people, or it'll never happen.
@theRightizright Two problems with this. One, rights are decided by courts, not the general public, otherwise we'd have states that still ban interracial marriage. This judge may have been gay but he was also criticized for being insensitive to gays and the poor by many, including Nancy Pelosi in the 80s. The Federal Constitution and the Supreme Court have 14 times voted in favor of marriage for all because of the 14th Amendment's due process clause. Lastly, the H8ers just don't have a defense.
Whether you like it or not, we have a process here in the U.S. whereby people have a say in the government. If an issue is strongly supported, it can be put on the ballot and voted on by THE PEOPLE (remember that phrase? it makes our country special). This is what happened in California. To allow a sodomite judge to overturn a law on sodomites being allowed to 'marry' is a travesty of everything right and good. This is why liberals have attacked through the judicial system.
@theRightizright 1st: 52% does not qualify as strong support. 2nd: Know what else makes this country special? The fact that courts can overturn UNCONSTITUTIONAL laws. This is not a democracy, it's a constitutional republic. Fundamental rights are assured through due process of law, not by majorities infringing on minorities. Learn how rights are really enforced before you complain about courts doing their jobs. I still challenge you to read the transcripts to see the feeble "Defense of Marriage"
You're almost right. We live in a representative republic. Due process of law includes upholding legal elections, which they had in California. Everything was done according to our laws. Then, when the voting results were appealed, a sodomite judge overturned the law banning sodomites' so-called 'right' to marry, which doesn't exist. How about if YOU prove they have the right? You're the one foaming at the mouth over decent people protecting true marriage.
@theRightizright No, I'm right. Representative Republic is redundant. Republic is representation while Democracy is direct voting. And we have a Constitution, yes? We have both a state and federal constitution, with the federal trumping the state, which is why the federal is supposed to be very broad in its laws. One such law, the 14 amendment, grants equal protection for all citizens and due process of laws. Also the 1st amendment grants freedom of religion. Courts remove laws that don't follow
We have a representative republic. The states are sovereign, except in a few areas designated by our founding documents, and a few others where the current regime has usurped power they do not have Constitutionally. So we are a republic, and we elect representatives to speak for us (or used to) in DC. Thus a representative republic.
@theRightizright Read your dictionaries. I have one dating 1937 and read various online dictionaries, each say republics are people voting for representatives to make decisions for them. Certain aspects of our government are democratic, like voting in laws and for representatives. However, the courts are a check so majorities cannot be tyrants to minorities, and this is where the Constitution comes in(both State and Federal). If you can't get this right, your opinions have lost all credibility.
just seen the ep where the house blocked a bill for helping 911 rescue crews with health care just after they passed a bill for more fucking gun freedoms. nice fucking work US government.. you must be so proud you fucking assholes... american government is fucked
try to be more specific in your criticisms - congress is one part of the government - there ar elots of civil servants laboring on your behalf, you enjoy the fruits of their labors without even knowing it and then trash the entire system. What would you have instead, a theocracy, communism, anarchy, feudal emains like ethiopia? It's our system, once upon a time th eacknowledged best in the world, an dwe have to fix it, not give up on it - that being said, I'm not sure just how...
there may be many people working away as you say, but how much of that work is affected by our leaders bowing to lobby groups or large scale cash donators?
many good things have been pushed aside for the benefit of some large business interests or groups like the NRA.
it is so shameful that society is held hostage to these people and even worse that our leaders continually lack the will to do what is right for the country and its people in the face of this situation
the first thing to do is for determine just how bad it is, what exactly is going, on, and pass that knowledge on to the electorate for consideration. Then I suppose citizens-action groups to lobby our representatives, and possibly boycotts? Not sure, suggestions welcome
@SupernalOne@SupernalOne i felt i was being specific. they - congress, passed a law for more gun freedoms the same week they knocked back passing something that would have helped with the 9 - 11 rescue crews health issues ..
they did it because it would have closed loopholes allowing companies with off - shore accounts to avoid tax . does it really matter what part of the government did such a thing?
I hope if only these people wud understand a little about the meaning of marriage..ALL will be solved with no further discussions and arguments!!! Which is GOD ordained marriage to be between a husband & wife PERIOD!!! The main word here is ORDAINED so whoever fall short of this shall reap the consequences of sin!!
@CenturianRule You have two choices. 1) Admit that you have been successfully trolled or 2) realise that you have failed to see the obvious Colbertian irony. Pick a side, we're at war.
marriage is a female and male who unite for the purpose of producing children.gays and marriage are like petrol and fire they just dont go together.gays have way to many rights as it is.iran has a fantastic law for gays its called EXECUTION they dont tolerate sick incurable people who engage in filthy sub human sexual practices. adam and eve not adam and steve..
@fukthailand So are you saying The US, with it's already low tolerenc in the eye of Canada and Europe should go the way of religius extrimists? Canada was one of the to adopt same-sex marrige, and Europe is falowing. Ppl like you make your country lok worse. Yr a homophobe, probably rasist and DEFINETLY a Fasist fucking NAZI. If you live in the US, your in the wrong country, if in Canada or Europe, i'll kick you out myself, and if non then go to some war torn area were u can die.
@fukthai Marriage is a bond of love. What is between your legs should not dictate who you marry. ummm gays have too many rights? gays have less rights than any other group in america. sigh. how ironic that you support the religious fanatical suicidal bombers more than a gay couple. And how ironic yet again that you quote a couple of thousands of years old fairy tale book that has been altered, and mistranslated. Shows how intelligent you are. Your ignorance, hatred, and bigotry disgusts me.
Also (Wow, three posts in one video, I'm on a roll.) did any of you stop to wonder if, maybe, sexual orientation could be a mixture of a birth right and a choice? Perhaps some people are more inclined to be gay from birth, and maybe some receive the inclination from how they were raised. Maybe hormones give a push in some direction, but the person's society chooses for them, or forces them into a certain choice.
Maybe like everything else about us, it's a mix of psychological and physiological.
either marry all or marry none...thats what i think. conservatives claim that marrige is a holy blah blah blah, well then it has religious ties and should have nothing to do with our government in the 1st place. separation of church and state, but somehow they manage to make marrige a law so all should have the right to marry, what the bible says should have nothing to do with law.
Gay Marriage...is...wrong. Sexual preference should never be a topic of discussion at the Judicial level in the United States Government. Americans are following the American Ideal of Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Involving the Government into Sexual matters is ridiculous. Rights for Marriage... the foundation of America is Christianity. Christianity defines marriage between a man and a woman.
@rhoadsenator I disagree. Marriage *used* to be a religious establishment, but pop culture has slowly changed that meaning into simply a deeper bond between two people. Pop culture has changed a lot of previously only-religion activities and holidays into more standardized things. Yes, you would be right only a handful of decades ago, but not anymore.
As of now, we should be judging marriage and basing laws off of what it means in today's times.
@rhoadsenator But Christianity neither invented marriage nor was America founded on ANY religion, and in the constitution it said "We are not a nation founded on Christianity or any other religion". If gay marrige is so wrong then why is it in Canada and Europe, the new "Land of the Free" (US citezens have less civil rights then that of Canadians and most Europians).
I wish I knew even one right wing christian that believed the constitution should be upheld. I can't say I'm surprised when I see right wingers claiming to be constitutionalists, as they are it's greatest opponent.
The answer why gays got less respect then chickens is we don't have a large politically influential group devoted to demonizing chickens.
As for the second question, I find it interesting how these same cons scream oppression when they are in the minority. Doesn't' have to be any actual oppression. Just them in the minority and suddenly their country has been taken away.
Gay marriage is a special right. Gays have the right to pretend to be as straight as straight people.
Isn't that what freedom is all about? Conformity as an end in and of itself? The freedom to be forced into being like everyone else simply because some people don't like you?
@franzsmr yeah it's because all their arguments are simply hypocritical attempts at rationalizations of a view based on nothing more than xenophobia, bigotry, hatred and disgust, and it's incredibly transparent to everyone.
This is something that's really annoying about people against homosexual marriage. Don't fight for legislation that bans marriage for spouse abusers, child molesters, or rapists! Keep rights away from good couples and good parents from getting married to ensure a stable household for themselves and their children! BRILLIANT!!!
Spousal abuse occurs AFTER marriage, doesn't it? And rapists and child molesters belong in prison, married or not. So that's your justification for allowing a perversion of marriage, which can ONLY be one man and one woman? And on top of that, allow children to be brought into that home, so they can see a twisted relationship and be taught to believe it's normal, or right? Not brilliant at all. God help the people who pervert children that way.
@theRightizright The point is that the people I listed are still allowed to marry, even after they get out of prison while a homosexual is not allowed despite them being a law-abiding tax-paying citizen. If the conservatives won't try and ban marriage for the people who shouldn't be married anyway, why should we take serious their claims that gay marriage will destroy the institution of marriage? The way I see it, they just like scapegoats for their own marital problems.
@theRightizright Also, what you say begs two questions: What's considered to be a twisted relationship and what studies have you seen that says homosexuality is abnormal? Any respectable source will say homosexuality is normal and homosexual couples can be just as good of parents as anyone. In fact, if you read the transcripts from the Prop H8 trial, even the H8er's own experts admit homosexuals don't damage society and would benefit from marriage, as would their children. Read sometime please?
What would you call a respected source? A sodomite judge with a slanted agenda toward perversion? Hardly fit to sit in on such a case. But again, liberals will attack Christians any way they can, and they think they've found a way through the courts. Sad to think they will answer for their perversion. Your not-so-clever way of spelling only reveals who the true haters are--those who hate straight people, and can't get their way through any other avenue. How tragic.
@theRightizright Ever wonder why Christians are such easy targets? It's because most are hypocritical nor follow their own doctrines in their entirety. Should it be illegal to eat shellfish? Get a haircut? Legal to sell your daughter into slavery in Mexico? This Bible you follow says all kinds of things people would consider extreme now, even the most devout Christian. Follow your own doctrine, "Why do you see the splinter in your brother’s eye but do not notice the log in your own eye?"
You finally proved something. You have NO CLUE how to keep God's word in context. I wonder if you've ever read it through, cover to cover. You haven't said one thing within the meaning of the word of God. Shellfish? A dietary law given to the nation Israel in Old Testament times. Haircut? The Nazarite vow, a very special circumstance that applies only to those who take it. Sell children into slavery? Where do you find Christians told to do that? You're somewhere in space.
@theRightizright You're not quite putting pieces together. The Bible says all kinds of things you are and aren't allowed to do. God didn't command anyone to sell their daughter, but it was allowed(Ex 21:7-10). Another example of this "God's love" is when "He" allowed Lot to give his two virgin daughters to a mob in Sodom. The "God" of the Bible doesn't seem like a deity I'd want to follow. Also, you know you aren't allowed to touch pig skin? Are pig farmers or football makers going to hell?
Now you've REALLY done despite to the word of God. I told you certain things were given to Israel, not the church. Dietary laws are not something the church has to follow. But I won't spend all my time sorting out your spiritual misconceptions. You need one thing--God's grace, through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. If you confess your sinful state to God, understand that Jesus died in your place to pay for your sins, and receive Him as your Savior, you are forgiven.
@theRightizright So you're basically saying that on Deut 21:18-21, it doesn't say plain as day that the community is allowed to stone a rebellious child? Or for breaking the Sabbath on Num 15:32-36? Those are just a few offenses that people could stone for. Where am I taking those out of context? Again, you're just behaving like a YouTube troll that can't back up anything they say and just to incite shit.
Why should I keep trying to explain details of God's word to an unbeliever who is spiritually dead? He said you can't understand them, because they're spiritually discerned, and you have no spiritual life. By the way, on which trip did you hallucinate me being God? lol. Did you read God's word or not? If you had, you'd know I was referring to His statement that TODAY is the day of salvation. Don't count on being alive tomorrow, because it's not promised to anyone. Try again.
@theRightizright The point being that "God" allowed the stonings of many people, including children for simply misbehaving. Why am I supposed to find this "God" at all credible in the N.T.? And of course you're not going to explain because you have nothing to back it up with. Just like in the Prop H8 hearings, the defense was tripping over their own words and finally admitted gays marrying is a good thing. I'm done with you and this pointless thread.
Fine with me. We weren't making any headway anyway. One reason I carry on these exchanges is that there are readers who check out videos and actually consider the truth, rather than simply dismissing it like you have. I hope this is the case, and that some even find faith in God and salvation through Jesus Christ by hearing from God's word. I do have one final thing to say about your last comments though....
I found a long time ago that one can't live by what they don't know, but by what they DO know. I realize this will shock you, but I don't know why God allowed those things to happen. The difference between us is that I know they happened, yet I know God is perfect, holy, righteous, and is incapable of sin. Therefore, I will ask Him in heaven, if the opportunity arises. I suspect you look at these events and despise God for them, rather than honestly seeking the reasons.
@theRightizright Not shocking at all really. To clarify, I don't despise any deity if they are truly fair and just. The "God" of the Bible is vicious, unforgiving and contradicting. Any deity that sends us to some planet, memories wiped, and expects us to follow the rich to their own ends because they claim some sort of deity backs them is ridiculous. The all-knowing "God" should keep the same morals throughout history, which s/he hasn't. Logic dictates that this god is simply a creation.

@teton99 wait your saying you don't hate homosexuals but you hate homosexual acts? Does it matter if they can procreate or not, surely all that matters is that two people love each other,
kingcherub11 5 months ago

If you ever decide to READ the Bible you will find the real reasons why God destroyed Sodom. Here are some of crimes that the citizens of Sodom were accused of:
1. They were arrogant.
2. They were overfed.
3. They did detestable things before God.
4. They did not help the poor.
5. They did not help the needy.

Christians love America...just because we don't agree with your viewpoint doesn't mean we hate America. Remember, OUR rights are just as important as YOUR rights. Majority means "the greater part or number; the number larger than half the total". 51 is more than 50, so yes, it IS a majority. The majority of people of Cali. voted that they wanted this Prop to pass...so it should stand.
megan2478 8 months ago
@megan2478 scuse me in advance but dont you think your being ignorant? America should not vote on minorities basic rights, LGBT are a minority and are citizens like everyone else whether you approve or not is regardless. This isnt a prop where we vote for medical marijuana to be legal or one that will reduce pay for teachers, those should stick whatever the decision but on this case you are severely mistaken.
wetdream09 8 months ago
@wetdream09

Religious freedom means freedom from mandatory adherence to other people's religious commandments, + freedom from persecution.
What sex adults do in private is their own business, if it hurts no one.
Promiscuous sex, gay or straight, spreads disease -- monogamous couples, in any combination, reduce or prevent promiscuous sex.

SupernalOne 1 year ago
@SupernalOne Answer: Because God likes putting babies into purgatory and to poke them with sticks and feed them vagina shavings.
Just a warning, this guy doesn't even know his own Bible, much less science. You'll just get another "God is right!" response, just like he gave me during our scripture war. I should note that s/he quoted only one scripture to me, basically saying if I believe in God, I will be saved. I quoted many others and he just said, "I'm not going to waste my time explaining."

SupernalOne 1 year ago
@SupernalOne

SupernalOne 1 year ago
@SupernalOne
All God asks is that you believe in Him and what He's told us.
theRightizright 1 year ago
@theRightizright
And not all Xians are reasonable -
SupernalOne 1 year ago
@SupernalOne
God says to believe FIRST, THEN He reveals himself to us....
theRightizright 1 year ago
@SupernalOne
....Second, the devil is real. Is one step of real faith in Him too much to ask?
theRightizright 1 year ago
@theRightizright
OK, thanks, I'll bear your words in mind - if reward follows faith, then one is answered at some point: faith up front seems a small price. (Doubt's always an issue, of course.) At least, as long as one has love for others, then the morality aspect doesn't take over.
Regards!

I now have to change my opinion of you to consider you demented, hateful, and dangerous. How can you pretend to be Christian in any real sense when you are so filled with spite? Get thee behind me, Satan -
SupernalOne 1 year ago
@SupernalOne
The problem is our sin, not His lack of grace.
theRightizright 1 year ago
@theRightizright
the biggest problem I see is that all we have in the world is Holy writ & people worshipping and fighting - Protestant vs Catholic wars occurred, the Inquisition - but it's all people saying "I speak for God, you are wrong, the Bible says so!" It's no different from a world in which there is no God & people make up religion for comfort & social control. Why is the omnipresent Deity invisible, inaudible, hidden? Why must we be damned if we fail to be convinced by talk alone?
SupernalOne 1 year ago
@theRightizright
SupernalOne 1 year ago
@SupernalOne
No other 'faith' has a living God, because there IS only one.
theRightizright 1 year ago
@SupernalOne

How about giving an example of something that is denied to homosexuals, but not to normal people.
theRightizright 1 year ago
@CenturianRule
How much more fair can it get?
theRightizright 1 year ago
@theRightizright
So church and state are separate, as they should be
SupernalOne 1 year ago
Maybe it's time to discuss any objections to gay marriage (if there are any) that DON'T have to do with the Book of Leviticus. If none can be found, then maybe it's an issue of freedom of religion - if a person does not believe in the Old Testament condemnation of gay sex, then Xian mores should not be applied to their lives. It's not even an issue of public decency, not if people just get over seeing gay couples together. I mean, WTF -
SupernalOne 1 year ago
@SupernalOne
Because while you're here, you're under His authority, and He said homosexuality is a perverted lifestyle.
theRightizright 1 year ago
@theRightizright With all the religions in the world, there is no correct way to teach a religion in schools, therefore, it was booted from publicly funded schools. This also begs the questions: How do you know "God" exists? If so, how do you know (s)he created the universe? How do you know (s)he finds homosexuality perverted? If you quote the book of choice, you realize man wrote those books, not "God", right? You have the burden of proof to prove a negative.
franzsmr 1 year ago
@franzsmr
Again, you are wrong. There is no burden of proof that my God exists. It is well documented by the very book I knew you would attack and try to discredit. The Bible was written THROUGH men, by God, over 1,500 years. The proof you seek is right in front of you. No 'religion' has a risen Savior. After living a sinless life, Jesus Christ allowed wicked men to crucify Him, then rose from the dead because God was satisfied with His sacrifice on our behalf.

theRightizright 1 year ago
@theRightizright At risk of this argument going in circles, man is fallible. Do you really know how the Bible was made? Books were voted in during the Council of Nicea to agree with a slanted viewpoint, since there were many books out there portraying Christ in many ways, and burned or discredited the rest. Look in actual historical records and Jesus is just another of a long line of astrological mythological beings that copied Egyptian and Persian stories.
franzsmr 1 year ago
@franzsmr

You're the one who messaged me after 7 months and spout nonsense. Do any quick google search for people that resemble Christ in mythologies(virgin birth, resurrection, etc). Just like Noah and the flood, Christ is just another of a long line of myths that's publicized as fact and not being able to stand scrutiny.
franzsmr 1 year ago
@franzsmr continued
I'm glad I made the right choice.
theRightizright 1 year ago

If you're a believer, tell us how you came to believe.
theRightizright 1 year ago

God says 'the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness unto him; neither can he know, because they are spiritually discerned'. And unlike your comments, that verse if taken in context.
theRightizright 1 year ago
@theRightizright I made my post 7 months ago. You made a comment I posted with nothing to back up what you're talking about other than a book that can't hold up to scrutiny from both theologians or historians as any form of "The Word of God".
That's also the big easy-out argument bible-thumping idiots have that all these verses that are all over the book is taken out of context when it's written plain as day in both old and modern-day english. Find a new defense.

@CenturianRule its also unconstitutional to ignore the popular vote and pass laws regaurdless of public opinion
daniel30765 1 year ago
@daniel30765
They have to govern, or judge, AGAINST the will of the people, or it'll never happen.
theRightizright 1 year ago
@theRightizright Two problems with this. One, rights are decided by courts, not the general public, otherwise we'd have states that still ban interracial marriage. This judge may have been gay but he was also criticized for being insensitive to gays and the poor by many, including Nancy Pelosi in the 80s. The Federal Constitution and the Supreme Court have 14 times voted in favor of marriage for all because of the 14th Amendment's due process clause. Lastly, the H8ers just don't have a defense.
franzsmr 1 year ago
@franzsmr
This is why liberals have attacked through the judicial system.
theRightizright 1 year ago
@theRightizright 1st: 52% does not qualify as strong support. 2nd: Know what else makes this country special? The fact that courts can overturn UNCONSTITUTIONAL laws. This is not a democracy, it's a constitutional republic. Fundamental rights are assured through due process of law, not by majorities infringing on minorities. Learn how rights are really enforced before you complain about courts doing their jobs. I still challenge you to read the transcripts to see the feeble "Defense of Marriage"
franzsmr 1 year ago
@franzsmr
You're the one foaming at the mouth over decent people protecting true marriage.
theRightizright 1 year ago
@theRightizright
you despise sodomites. You're OK with lesbianism?
SupernalOne 1 year ago
@theRightizright No, I'm right. Representative Republic is redundant. Republic is representation while Democracy is direct voting. And we have a Constitution, yes? We have both a state and federal constitution, with the federal trumping the state, which is why the federal is supposed to be very broad in its laws. One such law, the 14 amendment, grants equal protection for all citizens and due process of laws. Also the 1st amendment grants freedom of religion. Courts remove laws that don't follow
franzsmr 1 year ago
@franzsmr
We have a representative republic. The states are sovereign, except in a few areas designated by our founding documents, and a few others where the current regime has usurped power they do not have Constitutionally. So we are a republic, and we elect representatives to speak for us (or used to) in DC. Thus a representative republic.
theRightizright 1 year ago
@theRightizright Read your dictionaries. I have one dating 1937 and read various online dictionaries, each say republics are people voting for representatives to make decisions for them. Certain aspects of our government are democratic, like voting in laws and for representatives. However, the courts are a check so majorities cannot be tyrants to minorities, and this is where the Constitution comes in(both State and Federal). If you can't get this right, your opinions have lost all credibility.

FeelTheSexualTension 1 year ago
@rhoadsenator But Christianity neither invented marriage nor was America founded on ANY religion, and in the constitution it said "We are not a nation founded on Christianity or any other religion". This is something that's really annoying about people against homosexual marriage. Don't fight for legislation that bans marriage for spouse abusers, child molesters, or rapists! Keep rights away from good couples and good parents from getting married to ensure a stable household for themselves and their children! BRILLIANT!!!
franzsmr 2 years ago 32
@franzsmr
God help the people who pervert children that way.
theRightizright 1 year ago
@theRightizright The point is that the people I listed are still allowed to marry, even after they get out of prison while a homosexual is not allowed despite them being a law-abiding tax-paying citizen. If the conservatives won't try and ban marriage for the people who shouldn't be married anyway, why should we take serious their claims that gay marriage will destroy the institution of marriage? The way I see it, they just like scapegoats for their own marital problems.
franzsmr 1 year ago
@theRightizright Also, what you say begs two questions: What's considered to be a twisted relationship and what studies have you seen that says homosexuality is abnormal? Any respectable source will say homosexuality is normal and homosexual couples can be just as good of parents as anyone. In fact, if you read the transcripts from the Prop H8 trial, even the H8er's own experts admit homosexuals don't damage society and would benefit from marriage, as would their children. Read sometime please?
franzsmr 1 year ago
@franzsmr
How tragic.
theRightizright 1 year ago
@theRightizright Ever wonder why Christians are such easy targets? It's because most are hypocritical nor follow their own doctrines in their entirety. Should it be illegal to eat shellfish? Get a haircut? Legal to sell your daughter into slavery in Mexico? This Bible you follow says all kinds of things people would consider extreme now, even the most devout Christian. Follow your own doctrine, "Why do you see the splinter in your brother’s eye but do not notice the log in your own eye?"
franzsmr 1 year ago
@franzsmr
You're somewhere in space.
theRightizright 1 year ago
@theRightizright You're not quite putting pieces together. The Bible says all kinds of things you are and aren't allowed to do. God didn't command anyone to sell their daughter, but it was allowed(Ex 21:7-10). Another example of this "God's love" is when "He" allowed Lot to give his two virgin daughters to a mob in Sodom. The "God" of the Bible doesn't seem like a deity I'd want to follow. Also, you know you aren't allowed to touch pig skin? Are pig farmers or football makers going to hell?
franzsmr 1 year ago
@franzsmr
If you confess your sinful state to God, understand that Jesus died in your place to pay for your sins, and receive Him as your Savior, you are forgiven.
theRightizright 1 year ago
@theRightizright So you're basically saying that on Deut 21:18-21, it doesn't say plain as day that the community is allowed to stone a rebellious child? Or for breaking the Sabbath on Num 15:32-36? Those are just a few offenses that people could stone for. Where am I taking those out of context? Again, you're just behaving like a YouTube troll that can't back up anything they say and just to incite shit.

Did you read God's word or not? If you had, you'd know I was referring to His statement that TODAY is the day of salvation. Don't count on being alive tomorrow, because it's not promised to anyone. theRightizright 1 year ago
@theRightizright The point being that "God" allowed the stonings of many people, including children for simply misbehaving. Why am I supposed to find this "God" at all credible in the N.T.? Just like in the Prop H8 hearings, the defense was tripping over their own words and finally admitted gays marrying is a good thing. I'm done with you and this pointless thread.

I suspect you look at these events and despise God for them, rather than honestly seeking the reasons.
theRightizright 1 year ago
@theRightizright Not shocking at all really. To clarify, I don't despise any deity if they are truly fair and just. The "God" of the Bible is vicious, unforgiving and contradicting. Any deity that sends us to some planet, memories wiped, and expects us to follow the rich to their own ends because they claim some sort of deity backs them is ridiculous. The all-knowing "God" should keep the same morals throughout history, which s/he hasn't. Logic dictates that this god is simply a creation.
