Look at the portrait on the staircase at 7:04. It's the same prop that hung in Eunice St. Clair's apartment in "Troll" (1986). The masks worn in this film were by the same creator of the trolls in that movie, and Phil Fondacaro, who played the troll and Malcolm, plays Greaser Greg, though the character was voiced by Jim Cummings who also voices Nat Nerd.
