I grew up listening to Johnny as a kid, and have many good memories of him -- his wonderful voice and his romantic music! This song was always one of my favorites. So glad to find it here on youtube!!!

Cybernautev, have you come across Johnny singing "The Skye Boat Song"? I think it is on The Sweetheart Tree album. He does a beautiful rendition of this old Scottish folk song. So beautiful in fact that I named my daughter, Skye, because of it! Been looking for ages for this song. Anyone know if it is out on CD?

Another great song .... Collector's Choice Music have released this album (Romantically) along with the album Rapture on one CD along with 4 other CDs of 8 other Columbia albums by Johnny (2 albums on each CD). They are listed on their web site. As far as I am aware 7 of the albums have not been released on CD before.

i surely agree with 4....when i was in the airforce in 1962 to 1966...this song would allow me to escape to paridise.....when i played it......and yes..when johnny sings .....the angels are there......
