Anyways, if you watch video(Jazz Idiom2); you'll see that the sound is ok but what do you suggest for amps to run the sound through? I am looking at improving my sound and practice....

great learning tool... but you will get board of this soon and want a real drum kit. theres only so much you can do with one plastic pad

That's right.. but this is a mesh head, not a plastic pad.. it also has trigger inputs for cymbol and kick..
