This is the best demo video of the GDI21, have you tried using it direct? you are getting some lovely tones, I wanna buy a GDI but am afraid it may not sound as good without the Vamp.

There are no XLR outs on the Vamp. Using XLR cords/connectors are pointless for line runs under 25 feet.
