they didnt change it when it was aired on TV it was always "how soon is now" but for the DVD at least in America idk about the UK they had to substitute a different song otherwise they'd have to pay the artist to use that song for distribution rights or something.

When the season 8 started in 2005, the makers/writers of Charmed lost the rights to the song How Soon Is Now by Love Spit Love. Some of the uploaders took the time to switch out the songs. This is the correct version. TV stations such as The WB and TNT have purchased the rights to use it.
