  • My favourite film. You just know it's by Paul. this is not the original. It's good, though.

  • Paulie rules

  • Hermosa pieza musical, digna de nuestro amado Paul... beautiful music piece worthy of our beloved Paul

  • Paul, te amo

  • what movement is this

  • George Martin's arrangement must not be overlooked.

  • sooo sweet

  • Before that final line, Ezra Fitton says another thing which is sad and funny. "Do you know who he put me in mind of, Lucy? The way he walked out of that door. It could have been him." During the final credits the same music is played in march tempo which was a nice touch.

  • ANYTHING Beatles related is GOLD to me......

  • I got the soundtrack , but this version was not there. I love this one. Beautiful !!!!!

  • Soak it up folks...the stereo mix is really hard to find. Beautiful melody. Nice job Paul!

  • beautiful love it music and movie , thanks for posting

  • Yes, but three years before Stairway.

  • Yeah, very Here There and Everywhere meets Stairway to Heaven.

  • about love ,but little sad

  • I loved this movie. The music reminds me of the film, not the other way around. This piece brings up the scene when the mother is talking about being young and having the paint fight with her husband's best friend right before he walked out of their lives forever.

  • @LeChatonAvecUnFouet Perhaps the most poignant moment in this movie was the final line when the father says to his younger son, who was puzzled to see him weeping, "That's life, son. At your age it'll make you laugh but one day it'll make you bloody cry!"

  • @theprophet20 So true that. As the years go by, I often think of this line.

  • If you have seen this film, the actor who plays Hywel Bennetts' brother is Murray Head, who went on to record "One Night In Bangkok",a slight cultural change from Rochdale and Bolton,he is also the brother of actor Anthony Head.

  • Stairway To Heaven anyone?

  • led zeppelin were the masters of stealing songs. stairway to heaven, dazed and confused, bring it on home, how ,any more times, endless classics wonderfully snitched by plant and paige.

  • Reminds me " Here There and Everywhere" which was also composed in 1966 by Paul. You'll get the hints if you listen carefully.

  • The Beatles have always been my favorite band and I knew that Paul wrote the soundtrack to this movie, but never heard it until now. Absolutly gorgeous!!!

  • Even better than this piece Mr T is the brilliant main opening theme to the movie ; check it out

  • @MrTamborineMan19 Isn't it just! (Absolutely gorgeous) Aren't we all so wonderfully lucky that there was a band called the Beatles?

  • @Emerystreet I agree - we are so wonderfully lucky and so deeply grateful !

  • @Emerystreet We still have Paul around, and he's still doing awesome things and music!

    Stay tuned!

  • bravo, davvero gentile da parte tua inserire questo bel post. grazie

  • does anyone have this movie and they could put it on youtube?

  • Yes, Just search it on you tube. Tere are 12 parts (10 min. every) - the whole movie. just put The family way part 1 and you'll see it. Great dilm. It's use watching

  • a good move but if you want it it is not rare ; at least not in the U.K. as i bought the DVD only last year

  • Fantastic! I haven't heard this beautiful tune since the sixties! Thank you. 5 Stars and Favourited! :-)

  • very early on macca has shown an interest and affinity with the whimsical and melancholy, sounding especially french in a pierre couer andre popp way, sort of an english jacques brel to my ears, and this is evident in michelle from rubber soul onward to right now.

  • AWESOME!!!

paul did this soundtrack whit george martin ?

  • Anyone any idea where i can get the cd for less than £30 odd Amazon?

  • Wonderful. One more gem from Sir Paul.

  • the whole film ost had more than 20 songs

only this one made by paul?

  • is this played by paul?

    or just arranged?

    how to get this film?

  • "Love In The Open Air" is a melody Paul wrote. George Martin supposedly helped him arrange it for the movie.

  • Great film, great soundtrack too. n Yes it was shot in bolton. Why they can'tmake film's like this anymore I don't know why ??

  • Yes Stuart ,I know. No explosions I guess,no movie. I'm exaggerating, but it seems to be the sad truth..Ed
