@melikab Salaam! I am a Muslim born in America. I wear the hijab and am covered to the public. At least, real Muslims, the God-Conscious ones, wouldn't expose their bodies to the public. And no...not all of us enjoy watching belly dancers. I don't, and neither does my family.. I accidentally clicked on a link that brought me here. And unless you could provide for me a verse that states hijab has exceptions...I won't ever take it off. I am proud to have role models like mine...I don't see how that's a temptation. Pride is only negative when it includes arrogance. The hijab has humbled me...is that not something to be proud of? God gave us the hijab as a gift...
