  • chinese culture is beautiful!!

  • I think the Indian must like it also, Cause all the gestture of dancing , the cloth and make up is from Ancient India. It shows on Wall Painting art nearly 1000 years ago in Tang

  • This is so elegant, this gives me slight taste of what heaven is like, britney spears and all the hollywood pop star is really nothing compared to this. These eastern fairies kept playing over and over in my head nonestop. I want to be in heaven not pervertly, but sincerely.

  • " Tiên nữ giáng trần "!

  • wow.... they were like apsaras of heaven.....

  • I hope Indians don't claim China's moon festival is from India since Chang'e is the fairy living on the moon.

  • Buddhism has fairies? Lol, that's new to me. Hey, my Indian friend, Buddhism would have little influence without China's adoption and development for 1500years.

Anyway, fairies serve Jade Emperor in Chinese indigenous mythology.

  • of course they are beautiful, they were designed and danced in front of the emperor of china thousand of years ago. how can they not be nice?

  • A very difficult dance to do. Staying at one spot and still able to produce such wonderful movements. Amazing. Chinese dancers are the best!

  • Amazing dance I've ever seen. Love it so much, thank you.

  • This had me thinking "Okay, there's gotta be some trick anchoring them with that one leg". Aaaaaand then they did stuff Hollywood can only do with CGI, and I was like "WHAT?" *jaw on floor*

  • very very beautiful...thank you

  • How unbelievably skilled and graceful!

  • họ có xương k zậy @@

  • if anyone ask me which country has the best dance? i ll say "it's China".

Hjhj, i m Vietnamese, not Chinese.

  • @sharmayLee

i think it has to do the with person and not type of dance. if you are talented, the dance will look beautiful, and it's not the type of dancing that makes the dance look good. therefore, i would say dance in every country is beautiful. no best dance or worse dance. there is only best dancer or worse dancer.

  • So beautiful!!

  • i wonder if fx victoria can do this :a

  • @jessisnz jajaja que raro de ti 8-)

  • Rất hay...! Thanks !

  • @skyfiller12 Taoism has fairies too, and Taoism if I'm not mistaken originate from China. Have you seen Journey to the West, aka Monkey King, aka Sun WuKong. So Monkey King's first master/shifu is a Taoist master who taught him, his 2nd master is the buddhist monk. Taoism is a little like Greek Mythology, where there's a king and queen of all deities and fairies are often servants and helpers to the gods in this heavenly kingdom.

  • Somehow it looks like they're stuck to the plate XD

    They're so good T_T

  • @AsianFries they are.

  • @bonnielilas oh

  • so amazing TT_TT

  • ชุดนี้ก็บัลเลต์ประยุกต์เห็นๆเลย

  • @skyfiller12 . Fairs fly is from buddist culture, but chinese made this kind dance only using this story, or chinese found a way to present this story by this dance which can shows the characters of the fairs fly; all of these did not mean they learned this dance form india. You can search some india dance and compare...

  • @skyfiller12 . if you insist your point, like today 's computer, TV, car, telephone, rocket....etc... all of these should be west world's culture, like european or USA, so if following your thinking, the asian people should not use them, and the asian people should be fobid to make much better computer or TV than west, or asian should be forbid to make much better electronic product, just because this is original from west? 1000 years are enough to be a tradition.

  • @skyfiller12 and Korean is a single and small nation, you never can understand the county like China, which has lots of ethnic groups, the diversity is much much abundant, in the history, china learn things from north asia, south asia, even as far as mideast or part of europe; you learn, then you can innovate, and finally form your own culture; It is meanless to say it is india or china, if this art can bring good feeling to people, this is ok. if you insist your point,

  • Yeah~ and Chinese people eat dogs and breathe on their own filth.. it sure is a big country. Korea is MUCH cleaner and we sure have HEALTHY variety of cuisine.

  • @Rubbermaid453 korean is more famous for eating dogs..thx

  • @Rubbermaid453 so what if they eat dogs? you dont eat meat? stop pretending to be angelic. eating cows/pigs dont make u cleaner that those who eat dogs.

  • @skyfiller12 Yes, buddhist culture is original form Ancient india, it ends at around 1200 AD in india, then india is islam and indo; if you think a culture only can be account to the original place, then like the country Korean will not have much their own culture, the korean building, painting, calligraphy, philosophy, polity, medicine, ect... all of these will have to mention China. A culture has to learn from each other, this the key point to survive for thounsands of years.

  • But Tang dynasty is very open-minded, form many picture during that time, the girls really wear much less cloth than other time. And EXCEPT han-chinese, there are many other chinese native ethnic group, like Miao, Zhuang, Dong, Dai, Bai.....all of them have their own special dance, I think some of them are even much interesting than han-chinese dance. Do not think china just belong to han-chinese people, many other ethnic group also live in china as long as han-chinese.

  • @skyfiller12 As I know the han-chinese dance type is more than Dragon/Lion dance, it has like sword-dance, feather-dance, fan-dance, long-sleeve-dance, long-ribbon-dance, drum-dance, lute-dance.....yes, this fair fly in sky is from Dunhuang cave picture, but this kind dance is very popular and normal in Tang dynasty (618-907 AD), maybe in that time, the dancer wear much more cloth than nowadays...

  • @skyfiller12 there are 2 million chinese-korean in china, they have their own autonomous region, have many korean language based schools even one univerisity. They write the signboard (in shops, airport, busstation, ect.) in korean language first then chinese, they have their own korean officers... In USA, also have more than one million american-korean people, I do not think they have such korean Autonomous Region in USA. In your channel, I do not know why you have so much hate on China?

  • South- korean discriminate these chinese-korean, so they do not like the south-korean. When these chinese-korean have some achievement in world, such as get medal in olympic game, the south-korean people will say :" oh, I am pride for him, he is a great korean oversea brethren." When these chinese -korean did some bad things in south-korean, the korean people will say: " OMG, look at those bad chinese guys"...Shame on your south-korean people.

  • @skyfiller12 Actually, I can tell you one thing the music for this dance is made by a chinese-korean people. In China there are some famous musicologists and scientists or experts from other fields are chinese-korean, they treat themself as chinese, and china - government threat them as the some as other chinese, so they can have great achievements. This chinese-korean do not like the southe-korean people, because the southe-korean people think they are poor and discriminate them.

  • @skyfiller12 No, I do not think it is Indian

  • it represent the spirit of fourth density.....

  • Wow cool effect with their right legs braced to that platform, whimsical movements and the hair was cute :)

  • How does one get to control his (her!) body the way these girls do? That's really beautiful, incredible. How beautiful. Many compliments and thank you for sharing. Loveliest regards.

  • Beattiful, Thank you.

  • big problem guys, i think im in love with china

  • Wow.

  • Anybody know the title of the song? Tried to tag it with Shazam several times, but no results :/

  • the one in the midddle is so gorgeous, she look like a beautiful picture

  • looks like indian dance.

  • Oh my goodness that was absolutely beautiful...Im speechless :U

  • I do not care how you want to clasify dances including classical. All these ladies are way much beautiful than Indian dancers.

  • @chavacoatlito Yes these ladies are way more beautiful than the average dancer. WHY is that? Where are the actual artists and performers who are dedicated to their art? Is this a glossy government propaganda? Government is supposed to showcase the renowned and respected artists not just the most good looking ones. This is as fake as our Bollywood, nothing traditional. It is all well and good when a private firm does it for business, but not when the government does it.

  • every single one of the girls are just stunning! what a beautiful dance

  • philosophy

  • i love this. i m also a dancer n i know this is not easy

  • That was amazing!!!

  • kan wan, wo gan jue ta men dou shi xian nu fei tian! hen piao liang!

  • The artistic beauty of this dance is something to watch. I wish for all people in this land to have the freedom to be who they are, to express their feelings through art, movement and their philosophy, without interference

  • never underestimate the power of communism

  • OK. I give up. How do these beautiful ladies bend to such unbelievable positions? It is amazing.

  • @marcusp540 do you notice their right legs never moved? there are some frames supporting them. :-)

  • 演出有一种妖媚。无法和神韵可比。神韵个个看起来像仙女

  • @mangran1 这是敦煌飞天舞,就舞蹈难度来说,和神韵比简直是太看得起神韵了。两者不在一个层次上的。

  • asian women would have my balls empty in seconds

  • Amazing!!! It's like heaven.

  • WoW! Lovely and skillful dancers.

  • ΠΟΛΥ ΟΜΟΡΦΟ!!

  • Beautiful choreography, the movement is so graceful

  • so nice, need more

  • wow

  • this is so amazing ^_^

  • So beautiful^_____^;)*

  • omg... they ended the way they started! jump from 00:24/25 to 4:09/10 and there's no difference in their movement. WTF! WOW! It's like switching back and forth between identical photos!!

  • @Nam3l3ssOn3

    wow, you're right, lol

  • this is so lovely true art in the fullest

  • its like they're suspended wow i cried at this....

  • 美呆了!!!!!

    Es una mezcla de acrobacia,destreza,vestuario.....kitch...

    Yo lo disfruté

  • wow that was good

  • A dude named julia halvarsson likes this

  • A beautiful dance with beautiful women, but it did have me folled at first. I thought "How can someone have that good of a balance. it´s impossible!" but then you begin to notice something. They did not move they right leg. But it was still beautiful.

  • woow they really look like they r flying, top notch choreography.

  • very skillful dancers. Chinese dance is the best dance. :)

  • Woah veven with one foot trapped down I didnt notice that at all til I read the comments. It still doesnt explain how they could bend straight back like that!

  • It should be illegal to be this graceful and beautiful.

  • cool......

  • damn!! they got balance!! lmao

  • so graceful and pretty :D

  • Love it so much!!

  • @maniacram Don't watch it if u cannot appreciate it. Don't go around calling other people "retards" when they have practised hard for a performance (even if u dun think it is a dance)...

  • @maniacram I'm surprised to see a comment like this from a person from India. I think it would make you look more intelligent if you show a little more respect to different cultures. Imagine some guy on youtube comments on a bollywood film with the same comment you wrote, how would you feel? Respect my friend.

  • @tangjkd Actually you shouldn't be surprised at all. There is a difference between dance and little girls doing gymnastics. And also for your info there is no relation at all between this dance and bolly dance, except for some superficial resemblance of the costumes. I fail to see the enjoyment in this dance.

  • @maniacram perhaps, if you are from the chinese culture, you would understand this a little better. keep an open mind for another perspective is all I'm saying. no need for trash talk.

  • @maniacram HELO. wat is the prob with u. u r too retarded to appreciate tis dance, too bad. u r wat the chinese call"a frog at the bottom of the well''. u dun insult people OK

  • @xinxin22th my problem is I don't really think that this is an old dance form from china, this is just new age theatrics. I think these beautiful girls should concentrate more on meaningful steps and intricacy. Every group of people have their own innate body rhythms and mannerisms, they should discover themselves searching for that and come up with something truly worthwhile, instead of all this posing around and trying to look cute. Its the same difference between classical music and pop.

  • @maniacram well if tis is wat u tink.i am also a chinese dancer n i jus wan to say that this is actually traditional other than the leg-stuck on-the-stage part. n it really is not easy trying to "look cute". this is jus chinese dance- to be graceful, something fundamental is to smile. n to practise smiling regardless of our mood, some people even use ways such as biting chopsticks. maybe tis is not ur culture n u really dun understand

  • @xinxin22th well you know runway models right? They have to look fierce all the time in-spite of their 'moods' also, but there is a reason people give more respect to actors than models. Are you telling me smiling on stage is difficult? Is that not obvious? Why do you have to settle for the very basic when you can raise above that and do so much more.

  • @xinxin22th Also dance is language of the body, I don't think you have to come from a particular culture to appreciate the basics of another dance form. I mean it is not like this dance has some deep message or anything. It just shows how girls during some dynasty dressed and posed. This just comes across as you giving me excuses.

  • @maniacram i just don't understand why you need to argue over this? it's dance of fairies in the sky. so they are just trying to show the elegance and beauty of the fairies through this dance. and also. not all chinese dance is like this. it varies depending on the theme. really..there is no need to argue over this and i don't see the point at all. cheers

  • @vivspring you are right no point in me arguing over this, its just a dance. Yeah there are a lot of chinese dances, but all of them fall under the 'folk' or 'presentation' categories. Tell me a Chinese dance that you could define as classical. I think the Uyghurs have one, not sure.

  • @maniacram hmm probably this one?

    'Chinese Classical Dance 贵妃醉酒 '

    its my favourite though

  • @vivspring "do i feel a need to make people hate this dance". Well let me ask you this. Is learning ballet popular at all in china? Because I feel i can see the ballet body language in all these dances. The costumes and steps are different but they move just like how a ballet or contemporary dancer moves. For example kung fu has a clearly different body language than our kalaripayattu or any other marital art. I think it is trained ballet dancers trying to mimic old chinese dances.

  • @vivspring no offense, i'm not boasting. But Indian classical dances are way more complex. So not even we understand all of what they are saying sometimes, you have to have some knowledge of it to grasp all the nuances. Indian classical dances along with ballet are always mentioned together as the classical dances of the world.

  • Comment removed

  • @maniacram I`m no pro at dance or critic at dance, but I think you can learn the aspects of Chinese dance and the meaning behind it if you go and see Shen Yun Performing Arts Troop. I`m not sure if they have toured around India, but I heard people of not knowing anything about the culture of the dances and just going to this Performing Arts Troop has opened their minds about the culture. I`m not trying to butt in or anything but I`m just giving a suggestion since you think all they do act cute.

  • @vizard9800 I wasn't comparing dances, that only came up when someone mentioned my ethnicity. My main gripe is that this just comes across as ballet. Why do you guys have to glorify ballet when it is not even your culture. You have to unlearn ballet first. Can someone tell me the names of specific chinese dance forms that have some history, as in a school of thought, not just a particular dance sequence? Does anyone know the impact of the culture revolution of the 70's on chinese dances?

  • @maniacram I think I get what you mean. So your saying that its not original of them to use fluid moves like ballet? But as a dancer shouldn`t these be considered as basic training? A dance will never be this amazing if they don`t know basic training like splits, jumps, and flips. It`s probably because they`ve been training so hard to be flexible that it looks like ballet due to their fluidity. I don`t see any moves related to ballet other then fluidity

  • @maniacram As for all those leg raising and holding them up in the air for a long time is considered basic training for dancers to know, just like contemporary dances. As for your question of the impact of the culture revolution of the 70's on chinese dances. It will have to be involved with politics which I don`t want to get into. But ever since Communism took over chinese dances and anything considered traditional were banned and were all destroyed.

  • @vizard9800 aha so you think ballet and contemporary are like a basic training for every kind of dance? This example might seem far fetched, but do you think middle easterners use ballet training to make their hip movements more fluid? No. There is pretty much no hip shake in ballet. Every dance form operates within a set list of limitations. Once you get immersed in one, it is pretty difficult to make your body unlearn it so you can learn another.

  • @maniacram Well I don`t want to start an argument but for now I`ll just keep my opinion for myself :]

  • @vizard9800 Even in srilanka they have a palace dance form with a lot of flips and jumps and spins. But even those flips and spins look completely different, nothing like ballet. Like one guy dances here.

    watch?v=Zl0btvdbeF4

But i guess it is not as fluid, but i hope you get my point. Anyways I guess i'm spending way too much time on this.

  • @vizard9800 I am sorry to barge in,but I am Chinese and I want to get some things straight. There was a period after the Communists took over called the Cultural Revolution during the 1960s .In that time, all traditional dances, songs, and other things were banned. It was also a time for China to catch up with the west, like learning ballet and everything, open out to other countries and spread the Communist's ideas.

  • @maniacram Since Chinese traditional dances, were quite related to folk lore, buddha, and traditions they were considered banned and weren`t probably allowed much in the 70`s since Communism is still ruled as of today in China. Thats all I`m going to say since I really don`t want to get in more of politics and my knowledge of history is kinda vague.

  • @vizard9800 I don't know how you guys got the opinion that it is the basic for every kind of dance. I personally think that the movements in ballet are way too contrived, but thats just me. Its like they are trying way too hard and end up looking unnatural. Hopefully there are people in rural areas in china who still perform simple dances that encompass their original body language. Probably those can be identified and further stylised and developed.

  • @vizard9800 However, after the Cultural Revolution ended (1980s) traditional things were allowed back in. Sorry again just wanted to clear somethings out =)

  • muy bonita la musica y la danza tipica de china!

  • @Ariel74lemontree Well things like: the name of their dance group, about that army title that you mentioned, are there articles that i can read? I hope im not asking too much from you. :P Google fails on this matter. It's only mentioning about some transvestite dancer by the name of Jin Xing. Oh, wait.. i hope these girls are not transvestites. *shivers*

  • @Ariel74lemontree Really? Can i got some more information please? Thanks.

  • Does anyone know what's the name of this song?

  • She looks pretty...

  • It would have been nice to catch the audience's reaction, maybe make the clip a bit larger. Thanks anyway though, very good upload..

  • simply amazing

  • Heavenly lovely Beautiful !!!!!

  • @Ariel74lemontree Thanks for the information. The effect is still incredible, isn't it!
