  • Glock 19 Gen 4 has all sorts of problems folks my friend bought one immediately sold it, it jammed minimum of once per mag

  • You should try the trijicon HD sights.

  • I've prolly watched this video 5 times. i love that 19.

  • @cory07ink I got raped on this 19, but I had to have it. I bought a Gen 3 Glock 21 and it's all your fault. Ironically, I was just watching your Glock 21 Love Story vid.

  • @MrColionNoir LOL oh boy some old school videos. But hey the 19 looks sweet. I just picked up another 19 got Erika one also. I picked up a gen 4 ive had no problems with it at all. I'm Lucky maybe.

  • @cory07ink Went to the gun show with my girl this weekend. I want her to carry the 19, but she won't. She loves the Sig Sauer P238. It's driving me crazy, but it's what she likes. I was going to pick up the Gen 4 Glock 21 but I got nervous about the issues. I might get a grip job on it.

  • @MrColionNoir haha Get that girl a Glock! I think you'd be ok with the gen 4 21. I think most of the problems has been with the 9mm. I know ill be looking for a gen 4 21 soon.

  • @cory07ink Lol. She watches yall videos, so you tell her for me. lol. On another note, If I wasn't a lawyer Ide fly to your shop and get a sleeve done.

  • @cory07ink my early model gen 4 17 won't have any problems no matter hard i try?

  • @Mrseandseand Thats good man, Ive had good luck with gen 4 Glocks also. Erika on the other hand has had a few with her Gen 4 17

  • i have the same exact g19 rtf2 with the night sights and fish gills...these are becoming rare commodities since people complained about the slide and glock went back to the straight serrations

  • @mecolionnoir check out Travis Haley's Glock short reset 1911 trigger. This may help with your idpa.

  • Pretty awesome gun man. Love it. I'd love to see a video how you carry it and what holster you use.

  • I wish Glock would make the g26 available in RTF

  • I have yet to see an RTF2 at any gun shop in my area, where does everyone get these thangs?

  • Very wise decision to compete with a gun you would carry... very smart for developing excellent muscle memory and such. I would do the same. If I were to compete I would take the 19 or 17 in a heartbeat.

I agree with you on the RTF2 of course... I've never had a single issue with it. Doesn't abrade my skin, doesn't eat my clothing, nothing... all it's done is been a great firearm, haha.

  • Brotha man! Nice pick up... Keep this one lol! You will love IDPA... My first one was the most fun, but by far not my best lol! I bought my Glock 17Gen4 for IDPA. Nice vid. as always.

  • i'm not a fan of idpa. too many rules. i stick to uspsa and ipsc. good on ya for choosing to compete though.

  • Very nice serrations and grip surface. Love the 4th gen! Best Glock for concealed along with 30SF!

  • I have a Glock 17 Gen 3 RTF and I love it. I don't find it the stippling to aggressive. In fact when you get into the hot weather and you start sweating you will love that grip. You can watch the guys with Wilson combats drop their guns while you hold onto yours.

  • I love the 19 but ni sold it. Now I have a 23 and love it I could put the 9 mm conversion kit then its like I have a G19 but I love the RTF great gun MrcolionNoir

  • I love my RTF2 23 I don't understand how anyone would say the texture is to aggressive....must have hands soft as a vag i guess

  • I have an RTF2 19 also great gun gripping and looks

  • i heard they discontinued making rtf2 models?

  • @mikep51o They did discontinue them. I like mine a lot. Most people hated them. There is something to be said for them chewing up shirts and it's hard to criticize anyone who says squeezing sandpaper for an hour is maybe not super fun. I hope they never become collectors' items. Clearly some of us prefer them but there weren't enough of us.

  • nice gun man but i have to say i think im in the wrong line of work. where do some of these people in the gun community find the extra mula to buy several guns it seems in a 6month to 12month time frame..Lol im jealous.

  • are you going to get an extended mag release and/or extended slide release? the stock ones of both are a huge improvement IMHO with no downside even for CC.

  • I liked the rtf2 frame and slide cresents , but next to imposible to find here . everyone has gen 4 guns.

  • @glock2026 Trust me, I know. I over paid for this gun, because it was so hard to find.

  • Sorry I sold my RTF2. Great gun.

  • @OilTheGun My first Glock was a Glock 23 RTF2 and sold it. I've regretted it ever since.

  • Being this gun is going to be used for competition do u intend to change out the sights? Wut sights will u change it if u do? have u seen the TAS sights?f

  • im also very interested in idpa!

  • @23mrcowboys I've been meaning to get into IDPA for sometime now. Ill keep you posted on how it goes.

  • RTF2 is not meant for the sensitive hands lol

    Great choice man.

    I'm on the hunt for a RTF2 G23 to replace my Gen 4 G27.

  • @iRockGlock None of my friends like the grip. They all complain that it is too rough. lol.

  • I love my RTF2 23. Good job on getting into IDPA. It will make you a much better shooter. The 19 is a great choice for that. Very astute.

  • @MadOgre Thanks. My First gun was a RTF2 23 but like a bone head I sold it.

  • Great choice. I like the 17 as well. My hands are on the larger side.

  • Make a series of videos about how u signed up and got interested in IDPA shooting. I like your perspective on gun reviews and concealed carry. I gotta make some more videos soon...what camera and software do u use?

  • @jstu45 you know i just might do that. Thnks for the idea.

  • To TimeShockwave, the Walt PPQ is a really fine gun. Got to shoot one not too long ago and love the trigger straight out of the box. I honestly believe it's even better than any Glock as far as trigger. Folks will have their preference but always go with the one you're comfortable carrying and shooting.

  • That 19 is a beaut! First time seeing the RTF2 and those slide serrations. Very slick. I keep Talon Grips on my 19, I LOVE traction and that positive bite your hand takes into the grip. I'll make sure to keep an eye out for a 19 like this at my local shop.

  • @The1cemanCometh I think its the best looking glock to date.

  • great choice the g19 is going to work and its cheap on ammo

  • Good choice. I'm looking for a gun for the same reasons and am leaning towards the Walther PPQ.
