Why would it not want to run in the winter? I could maybe see a problem with a butane coming out of the fuel tank because its cold. But that could be fixed with warm water. I'm thinking of scratch building a Mamod look alike.
How come other Mamods can run fine though lol. Apparently you have to be lucky with them. I think I was a lucky one with mine as it was owned from new by it's previous owner & it has been well looked after (I could tell that just by looking at the oily bits on the chassis). If you want cylinders sorted, I think they come up to about £15 a cylinder. Not sure what that is in dollars but I doubt it's an arm & a leg. Good video there.
