Blender terrain and texture painting

I might sound a bit stupid, but how do you change the Blender layout to look like that? (Meaning, like the classic blender style.) I can't seem to be able to do it.

its not called uv mapping u foo lmao what a noob texture painting uv mapping and turrian mapping are 3 diffrent things and in blender u cant texture paint a terrain u can texture paint one face but who want one face no one

Are you Sirius? common you probably should of told every one that its blender 2.49 before this tutorial started not six minutes into the video! People will just sit there doing all the steps and find out it was a waist of time because they don't have the same blender you do.

when i use a ground texture the frame rate falls of 60fps to 30fps... how can i resolve that?

1 stencil in 1 texture shadless = 50fps

2 stencil in 1 texture shadless = 40fps

2 stencil in 1 texture shader = 30fps
