great video Pablo..really glad to see you out and about again....if you cannot find a source for those folding cups my local surplus has them for .25 cents each..i bought 4 great for tea and meals and weigh nothing..safe journeys my friend
Hi buddy!! great vid, one things missing, ME!!!!! lol, oh well i was tied up that night teehee ;) just watched this and 3 hours ago just did a vid of the bushbuddy with the evernew burner!!!! SPOOKY!!!!! upploading it now, nice one bro, all the best your partner in crime JP :-)
@JonPaulLamoureux Wotcha bud. Yep. I think you were... er... busy. I've got stacks of footage of Woodlife Trails which I'll put together later in the year including the courses and shows so far.
Nice to see you back in the woods Pablo.I like the idea of scrim net over your bivi.Is there any reason why you use the evernew burner instead of a trangia?I think the trangia is the cheaper of the two!
really nice video pablo. does that spirit burner have a screw on lid? i use my 30 year old trangia still in combination with a honey stove.......some nice wildlife shots
@mazadan The Trangia is always a good bet. The bushbuddy is a really efficient woodburner and the Evernew is ultra-light. It doesn't have a screw on lid. You have to burn off all the meths.
Great wildlife footage! I have a Goretex Bivi bag, it's huge, but STILL a pain to get in and out of. It's always a compromise between weight, size, and comfort. I read in an old 1920's book of a traveller who had a 'Pocket tent' made of silk. I wonder if that's viable?
@raindog951 Not sure. I have a very light tent-tipi called a Titanium Goat. It's synylon and feather weight. It keeps out the rain ok but there's a lot of condensation.
Hi Great video just watched. Out of interest which snowpeak pan do you own. looks a good size.
Thanks
Andrew

That hooped Bivi design was taken and modified from the aussie SWAG.
Its a great product, but im not familiar with the Jupiter.
Did you have to crawl into it from the front or did you have a zipper entry from above?
Rob.

@g0vqw Hi Sandy. The trangia is certainly cheaper but it weights 4 times more than the Evernew!

@prmaklpboo Ah I see.I never thought it could be that light!
Thanks Pablo.Have fun out there.

@g0vqw It's titanium, but the trangia is heavier because it has two lids and some of it is made with brass. All the best.

@tankmdg If you Google Flektarn German army shirt, you might find one in the surplus shops. This shirt cost me £2-00!

@prmaklpboo
