@kidsonmeth 21st century breakdown is musically their best album. give it a listen from start to finish. when you follow the concept you'll really appreciate how good it actually is. i do personally prefer the old albums though. going to pasalaqua is my favourite song i think.

and i listen to both these bands, and i dont see much similarities between those 2 songs. and i also know that horseshoes and handgrenades sounds like the hives, but its not the exact same riff, if you actually listen to it carefully enough... enough talking about this though... i love both of these bands, and im not saying that 1 is better than the other.. im just saying that green day is a good band, IN MY EYES... but we all have our ow opinions, right?

A hardcore band from Britain called Gallows opens up their song Black Eyes with the same drum beat but played faster. I doubt they were trying to rip Bikini Kill or Green Day with that.

My old band played with bottlerocket and me and the guitarist were so trashed ( i play drums) kody had to drive our car from the show back to the fort lol. the seat was stuck forward and hes pretty pudgy lol. so his stomach was basically ridin the wheel .. hes a fun fuckin dude.

It has some tough competition. Do What?, Todayo, Skate Or Die and Bigger Than Kiss are my favorites. I just have to give sometime for the rest of the album to sink in.

not to mention has been in some great fuckin bands. check out the lillingtons theyre probably my favorite. besides another side band probably the best was SACK. look it up on ebay caus its basically the only place you can get it. but its badass to say the least ha.
