I think that for a show to be really successful is to bring characters together but especially coloring each actor/actress with the things of the alien societies they came from. It allows latitude for the characters to have a much broader being that otherwise would quickly go flat. I remember Saturday at the movies & it was always 2 B-Westerns. The plot and people were the same; this got old quickly with me even as a kid. I think this is found in Farscape; it is certain in JRRTolkien's books.
I miss both shows. I would have watched Farscape For several more seasons. I only wish Firefly could have made it that far. Why do all the brilliant shows get canceled to make room for so much worthless fluff. At least all the fan support helped Serenity be made. I love both shows!!!
I didn't watch Firefly first time around, but I enjoyed watching the DVD set in the order that Whedon intended it to be shown. I've enjoyed Farscape since I first saw the 3-part "Prisoner of Zenda-type" story where Crighton marries a Princess, only to find out that he's the father of a little girl that he'll never live to see grow up. Good audio/visual blend but if you attempt to redo it, I would suggest a complete panorama of clips featuring ALL of Moya's crew from Season 1 to Peacekeeper Wars.
You did surprisingly well matching the song to the scenes, considering the differing natures of the two shows. You should probably used less guns and more Moya fly-bys though.
hmmm I do like firefly/Serenity, but the movie done the impossible for firefly... yeah well Farscape beat you to it... :) ohhh I could rant on... the posters was a copy of the farscapes ;) FRELL IT!!!! :D
More like if Joss Whedon wasn't involved with Firefly, nobody would have paid attention to him. Sure, he'd have the Buffy/Angel fans... But me and plenty of others love Whedon because of Firefly.
I love Farscape, and I love Firefly. But I didn't instantly love Farscape, it took many episodes to grow on me. I can only imagine what Firefly would have become in four seasons.

@JKcathouseI
Thanks. I watched PeaceKeeper Wars not too long ago. I still can't get enough of either show, But thank goodness it fixed the ending from the show.

Both great shows. Main difference: Farscape theme = one of most annoying and stressing themes ever. Fireflys opening theme = one of the best ever

Farscape is the best series ever. If Joss Whedon hadn't been involved with Firefly, nobody would have paid any attention to it.
