I mean at the beginning the car is like "falling" like a meteor and it crashes into the road. So in a sense it fell from the stars. I mean I don't think the message is that this car is going to get you into a car accident or something.

@thetree88 - Thats is because the car is European. The car use what I call the Milan platform which is from Ford/Europe. It is use for the MKz, Milan, Fusion and even the MKS and MKX use this platform. Thus the 'family' resemblance.

Lincoln and the Fusin have the best looking models on this platform. Mercury relly should be discontinue. Its like a cross of Lincoln and Ford versions of the car.

@TechieXP Well your wish came true, Mercury will end its 72 year run,by the end of 2011 or early 2012.Its a real shame because they used to make cars for the middle class to upper middle class, Lincoln was for the rich.Now with americas middle class nearly non existent it just makes sense for them to get rid of the marque.Hopefully our middle class will come back again someday,but I wouldn't count on it.My old man has a 1967 Mercury Cougar which is a fancy version of the Mustang, pretty cool car

You first have to look at David Bowie's classic "Space Oddity" in which Major Tom first appears, then listen to Elton John's "Rocketman" since the "Rocket Man" is in fact non other than Major Tom. Shoot forward to Bowie's 80s hit sequel to Space Oddity, "Ashes to Ashes" in which Major Tom appears again.

Or I can simply tell you the song is about drugs, but that'd totally devoid you of the pleasure of listening to these such fine songs.
