@jdducut83 Theres nothing wrong with being a short guy at BUDs. Be in shape when you get there(not like you have a choice), and stay motivated and theres no problem. Every BUDs class even has a "Smurf Crew" for all the shortest guys there.

I am so proud of this guy. We actually were in the same boot camp company Division 940 in Navy Boot Camp at RTC Great Lakes, Illinois during the summer of 1995. While the division was doing standard push-ups and sit-ups, he was doing Seal push-ups and exercises, even during our down time. He was our division RCPO and a doggone good leader. I am proud to have been under his leadership. Hoorah!
@najohodo Yes, Hoorah! It is different now, but when I was in, we said Hoorah or Oorah as the Marines say, though we're not marines. They pretty much trained us in the field I was in! I think now its Hooyah or Ooyah. So, like I said before shipmate, HOORAH!

@TrailsOfFire1 I have to completely disagree with you. I do triathlons, and for each one I always have to mentally prepare for the course, my swim, bike and run. Same goes for my transition into the military. I can be physically fit, but I don't enter such big events like that being unprepared. So I see no "bigger problems" coming my way. Plus I never said I was going to BUD/S. Hope that clears it up. thanks for letting me clarify my points by the way.

One of the hardest things is to achieve to right balance between self-confidence and humility. It's so important to find that edge on really sharp sword. Too confidence get me think I know better than others and don't have to listen or learn. Overly humble man will not have good self-confidence. That's the way, our mind works in general and it's hard work for me at least.
I got to always keep myself in check for that balance, which isn't bad for self-discipline anyway...

One of the hardest things is to achieve to right balance between self-confidence and humility. It's so important to find that edge on really sharp sword. Too confidence get me think I know better than others and don't have to listen or learn. Overly humble man will not have good self-confidence. That's the way, our mind works in general and it's hard work for me at least.
I got to always keep myself in check for that balance, which isn't bad for self-discipline anyway...

If I set any goal, that isn't hard to reach, I'm going to settle for something close to it. That's just how our brain works and anyone who faced any hard training including lots of discipline knows that. So many chair professors today, right?

Bill gates got his ideas from Dell but it's not who stole the idea it's who presented the idea, its the person who takes that idea and turns it into something great is the one i give credit to. Forget the creator, i give credit to the presenter. Not Mark's fault he outwitted those 2 guys. Besides just because they told you in a MOVIE he did so, doesn't mean it's true. If you're a stock market guy then yes luck has a little to do with it but technical analysis takes 95% of the credit.

Just look at the Ipad, windows went out with the tablett PC long time ago, never succeeded until Apple did the same. So who was the smartest? Hard to say but it comes back to timing, the market wasn't ready for it! As for mark zuckerberg, yes he is good of what he is doing, bill gates too but I believe more that they got the time right and they played their cards right

@jetliigor Doctors usually come from doctor families same with lawyers you are basically born into it. Succeeding with a business have not much to do with beeing smart in the classical way. But some people have a talent to buy and sell, they are good sales people with charisma and they can become rich.
But most important to get rich is to have back! cause the game is rigged!
