Hi everyone. Does anyone know when the new helen slater website will be up and running. For the front page has been up for soooo long with the heading coming soon. I mean do forgive me guys for being so impaitent but i can't wait to see the whole of her website. it'll be so exciting to see. If nobody knows please don't fuss.
Hi there guys. You know how Helen said she loved watching the george reeves version of superman. Wouldn't it be awesome if we could place Helen infront of that same back drop. And if the narrator was announcing SUPERGIRL! If it was possible to do. And thanks very much for posting this video up it's great!
Thanks for uploading this and the other interviews of Helen Slater. Loved her as Supergirl and am glad that she holds the movie in high esteem. I don't know why there are those who still bash it. I enjoyed it.
Thanks for these! It's really interesting to see Helen Slater after all this time. I'm surprised she turned up at the celebration; I recall - maybe a decade ago - reading about her doing an interview, and either questions about Supergirl weren't allowed, she ignored questions about same, or turned very frosty. I had the impression that she felt that Supergirl had ruined her career, typecast her?
Anyway, thanks for this, very interesting! I'll have to attend one of these days. Cheers.
Yes it was very interesting because she seemed quite the opposite regarding her role in the Supergirl film. She seemed to love the idea of even having a cameo role on smallville! (in vid 4) Perhaps in time she learned to embrace her role in the superman/supergirl mythos and became appreciative of the fanbase that supported her. She was a very pleasant and wonderful person. I hope she comes next year :)
