  • i love your hair and it looks nice. i am sure you loved your natural hair as well. sometimes time constrains can really be a downer in maintaining natural African hair. a texturizer done properly is very useful and still has the natural "look". all the negative comments are uncalled for. Hardly ANYBODY leaves their hair in the natural state...shampoo, sprays,Gels are ALL chemicals. they do not alter the hair permanently BUT they alter some aspect of the hair...so just do you girl!!!

  • I love it. If u didnt tell anyone they wouldnt really know. I got my texturizer . U have all these negative people commenting but they are doing braid outs and twist out to alter their curl patterns as well.do you

  • Are you going to continue to use that product?

  • Its funny how everyone is miss quoting her. She said she's natural without a weave meaning the natural hair from her head, not the natural tester...Le Sigh..

  • @mssugahill @mssugahill AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL! Girl, thank you someone who can listen to the entire context of a statement! LOL! I love it!

  • @OpenHeartedMe I mean seriously how hard is it to listen????

  • I thought when she says "natural" she is referring to the LOOK.

  • I like ur hair. I'm thinking about texturizing. I'm nervous though!

  • @taurus51410 I'm thinking about texturizing too. I have to kit and everything but I'm afraid that I might make my hair straight or mess it up somehow. I'm pretty nervous too.

  • @bmnl3636 hihi, i was just like u but i went to a professional..dont do it yourself or by anyone that cant do it properly...lol...it turned out great for me! i love it! still looks natural but of course it is a chemical so...whatever its just hair...YOUR HAIR!!! take the plunge!

  • @taurus51410 do it by a professional, you wont regret...i was afraid that it would get straight. just dont do it urself! i love mine.

  • She so proud and that shit is not even natural!!!

  • awwwww. so you're no longer natural, but to each his own. i have never texturized, but i'm sure you know that texturizers are relaxers {which i did do for years}, just milder. good luck and hopefully you love it :^) that's all that counts. just because you are not natural anymore, you can still care for your hair in similar ways. good luck lady

  • Honey, you ARE PERMED. 2:15 ..

Save the "I'm natural" phase for the people that really are. I know they work really hard to stay natural.. not like you didn't.

    I like your hair, though.

  • sigh.......if u have a texturizer.... then your hair is not natural !!!

  • Hey I'm wondering did you go to a salon to get the texturizer done or did you do it yourself? I'm thinking about a texturizer

  • @krazieyaya go to a salon...trust me...

  • before you texturized would you consider yourself to be a 4b?

  • in my opinion shes natural, leave her alone! im natural but im gonna get a texturizer to loosen my curl patter and im still gonna be natural, who cares what you people think?

  • its her hair she can do what she wants !!!

  • you look pretty love i hate how you're sharing something you didn't have to and everyone wants to put in their negative 2 cents....nobody asked you!

  • @msmightyk well a text can straighten you hair too also.. i think beauty is skin deep..within the heart.. i love everyone for who they are.

  • and also if you are going to get a text then you might as well relax it's the same thing. And another thing you can tell by the video the girl does not know she is not natural anymore.

  • @msmightyk breaking is normal. It just depends on how much is coming out. More than likely it's something you are doing .. Like the way you comb it. They have plenty of different ways to do your hair without it breaking out. You just have to find what works best. But it's whatever

  • @msmightyk don't text because you won't be natural anymore.. it's still a chemical process.

  • i'm not judging her i'm just saying that she says she is not natural. She has a texturizer .. which is still a relaxer it's just a milder relaxer.

  • It is your natural hair if it's no weave in it. Saying relaxed or texturized hair is not natural is like saying putting oils, lotions and hair grease in your hair is un natural. Your hair is not shiny, instead it's dry and you put PRODUCTS in your hair to get to look the way you want.

Sweetie you look gorgeous keep doing your thing. Don't pay any attention to these negative people. If they don't believe in texturized hair then why waste their time looking at videos about it?

  • Im sorry girl but you may as well have relaxed it, you're no longer natural. You're natural hair is the kinky shrunken state that you're so against. I have nothing against texturized or relaxed hair, its a personal choice...but please leave the term natural for those of us who have suffered through the awkward stages and learn how to nurture and care for our truely natural patterns without resorting to chemicals. I promise with some trial and error u can, figure out ways to softn and define kinks

  • News flash.....you are not natural. You look great though.

  • so what if u texturized,ur hair look great u have pretty hair what ever make u happy girl that what counts

  • Hey what kind of texturizer did you use?

  • @MzBubblez2691 nvm its in the video lol

  • texturizers are mild relaxers. its a chemical. its not natural

  • Uh...Texturized hair is chemically treated, therefore NOT natural. Try again, hun. <3

  • Hey girl you look great i'm thinking about doing the samething with my hair as well ib was locked for 2yrs then i combed it out it took forever now i don't know what to do with my hair. great video!

  • i used just for me and loved it! i didn't comb it at all and only left it on for 3 minutes to apply and 4 for processing. it gave me long, kinky curls...but, naturally i'm about 3c/some 4a..so results vary.

  • with a texturizer do you have to keep doing touch ups every 6-8 weeks like a relaxer?

  • @lifeISmusikk not at all since most of your natural texture still remains (depending on how long you leave it on initially). you can stretch your touch ups to like a few times a year. it just depends on how you want it to look. :)

  • I'm so happy you did this video, I'm so tired of my hair i want to cry, my hair is so corse, and I was about to give up when I found your video. Now Im going to texturize!!! Thank you so much i loved the video

  • @candochee Glad I could help, but be careful with your edges. If you look at my Texturizer update you'll see how it straightened my ends and edges a bit to much! But other than that....good luck!

  • @OpenHeartedMe my hair sounds like yours. am gonna try it

  • Comment removed

  • @Tanisha0782 ?? Never said that anywhere in any of my vids

  • @OpenHeartedMe yes you said it on this video starting at 1:00

  • @mlstucke what I said was,and I quote, " I did this whole thing so that I could finally where my hair and just be me without any weaves" Not that I texturized to be me.

  • @OpenHeartedMe Thank you for this video..........I am act the same stage as candochee. I want to be all natural, but my hair is soooooooo kinky and growing so slow. So I think I may go with the texturizer. Thanks again for being so honest, I knew everyone did not have so call "good" hair.

  • @Tanisha0782 - How about you just shut up and stop judging. You totally misquoted her. Yeah, I am late but still. LMFAO @ you. I can relate to her. I was wearing weaves and got tired of them so I decided to texturize and it freed me from the weaves and the Indian hair. I can totally relate.

  • @MsLeopea Hi 5 Girl!!! You actually understood what I meant when I said natural with no weaves. I eventually just stopped responding to the people who major in the minor things! Thanks for watching

  • @chicagolowe wow lol

  • I wish there was a natural texturizer.. My hair is very tightly coiled and can be hard to manage bc it is so fragile. Anywho, which it would feel as soft as it is when wet/damp. If i were to relax or texturize- i wud def do it less, like 3 times a yr or sumting. I am at a crossroads with my hair, recently shaved the sides and would shace the rest in an instant but i like the look atm. x

  • Yes it is the best of both worlds I was natural for a year and seven months post bc and exactly 2yrs since the last relaxer. I literally wash n go every day. No towel because it frizzes my hair I co wash it then use anti frizz serum and go on my way. I have the hair I always wanted

  • The best advice I can give is to just follow the directions for re-touching on whichever product you choose. I've only re-touched once so I'm no expert. When I did it all I know, the process I used was similar to when your getting a perm, only place the texturizer on your new growth

  • How do you retouch texturizers? I am going to do this soon. I had the same experience with the Soft n Beautiful texturizer. The best result I get is with S Curl texturizer. My natural hair won't hold moisture and it looks really bad. I am sick of it. My former texturized hair was very easy to moisturize and care for.

  • You go its BEAUTIFUL... have the same hair texture and problem as you.. DO YOU... I love it.

  • @amaka38 yes you have to get touch ups

  • girl dont worry about it. you get the best of both world.l was texturized.l should have keep my hair that way instead of relaxing

  • 7 people must be naturals who bash peolple for texturizing their hair lol haters!

    your hair look good:)

  • Sorry, but you'll be right back at square one by cutting and starting all over to get the damaged hair off of your head. It's no different from a perm. More power to you though. As long as you're happy with it.

  • The lactic acid in the yogurt will naturally soften and relax the curl. Somehow, it knows how much to process the hair because it doesn't get the hair straight. It will take your hair down one grade, ie 4b to 4a. I've left it in for up to 45 minutes. It is considered a protein treatment and will require that you moisturize.

  • haha i just saw that I already commented on this video. Effing youtube suggestions. Well, its nice to know my views are consistent

  • "I'm 6 months natural" "I'm texturized"

    does not compute

  • For those of you who don't want to chemically texturize, use vanilla yogurt.

  • @votesmatter what does that do? I've never heard of doing that before, just curious.

  • @votesmatter- are you saying use natural yogurt on natural hair to temporarily relax the natural curl?

  • @rettrois Yes. Vanilla yogurt works best, but be sure to moisturize because this is also a protein treatment, which should not be completed more than once per month. It will take your hair down one grade, like from 4b to 4a. I've left the yogurt in for up to 45 minutes with a plastic bag on my hair.

  • do you have to touch it up like a perm ???

  • there isnt a difference between texturizing and perming, you're using chemicals to alter your curl pattern... THAT SAID... it's your hair. It looks great on you. Rock it like a rock star but um... yea it's not natural hair

  • I love your video. Your hair looks beautiful. Does the Organic: Texture My Way really work. And I understand what you are saying when you say that it seems like it is not growing, my hair is the same way.

  • Will you still have to get the chemical cut out of your hair after it grows out in order to be 100% natural again?

  • @MsElaine0035

I guess to be "technically" natural thats what some people would do. I wont be cutting my hair though.

  • i'm texturized too...you're beautiful

  • You're so pretty! (:

  • Great video! I used to have hair down past my shoulders (all mine) relaxed straight and over the years I've gotten to the short length I have now. Texturizing is MY natural and I love it. I get TONS of compliments too! I'm gonna subscribe now =)

  • LOOKS REALLY NICE. I ALSO WAS NATURAL FOR 2 YEARS TEX MY HAIR AT 2YRS WANTED TO BE ABLE TO COMB THROW IT LIKE THAT IT WAS GROWING NATURAL .BUT IM MISSING IT ALSO .LIKE MY TEX GOIN TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS AFTER 12WEEK MAY HAVE LEFT IN TO LONG ITS STRAIGHT BUT... :+)

  • @chicagolowe I totally disagree with your comment, I went natural in DEC 2006 and texturized in May of this year, and it was the best decision I have made with regards to my hair. My hair was even difficult for several stylists to manage, so you can imagine what is was like at home. After the texturizer, I was able to rock natural looking styles that I could never achieve before and best of all, it didn't take 3 hours to wash and detangle. I took the time to get to know my hair and still did it!

  • you have pretty eyes =D

  • Girl if u r happy, it does not matter what others think. I have been completely natural since sept 2008 and now I want a change. Thou I love my natural hair, it has been a challenge to maintain it. My hair is an extremely hard and dry 4d hair. I have tried products from hell and beyond and now I am ready for peace of mind. So come Friday, I am texturizing my hair.

  • i love the fact that you went bold and semi natural. You seemed a bit sold out to yourself at frame 0:48. I commend you for stepping out and wanting to be you, but continue to want to go all the way and you will be amazed at how bold you really are! A texturizer to achieve curls(because it seems to be the "in thing" or "you have good hair" thing) doesn't define the real YOU. It is YOU that defines YOU, not a curl. Stay beautiful. And yes I've been completely natural for almost 2 yrs.

  • @the1privatebox

Thanks for the kind words, I didnt choose to texturize for either of the reasons you listed but thanks!

  • i love the fact that you went bold and semi natural. You seemed a bit sold out to yourself at frame 0:48. • I just shaved all my texturizer hair today, it feels good and now I'm ready for my natural Journey again and this time I'm going to stay natural forever I promise myself that. I feel so free!!

  • And somethings I wanted to mention is this if your hair is hard to manage, try using rhassou clay on hair it will loosen up the curl if it is to tight, I have tried this in the pass and it worked really good it takes about 3-4 aplications to really see and feel the difference on hair. What you need to do is make a paste by adding water & clay & mix it together & apply it on dry hair and put a plastic cap on hair 4 15-20 minutes then rinse, if you want to see fast result use it 2x a week.

  • For anyone thinking about getting a texturizer is a big mistake I did my and now my hair is dry, rough, brittle and hard. It is not worth the time, now I have to go and get the big chop again. I always loved texturizer but if this is what I get from using it? No No I'm done with this texturizer mess, you can't always get what you want. I'm going back to my natural hair and no more chemicals in my hair. I just need to accept my hair and move on lol!

  • Hi, I did my BC about 3 months ago and decided to texturize my hair this evening to get some pull on my hair and have a new look. I also used the Botanicals texturizer product and it didn't work for me as well! I'm so upset! My hair doesn't look like anything it should on the box! =( How long did you wait until you used Texture My Way? What should I do to get those kind of curl you have? Thanks

  • @bogga123

    Hey,

I used the Texture my way a few days after I put in the Botanicals because the Botanicals really had no effect on my hair AND since I washed it the next day I think it didnt really take anyways. I really couldnt give you any advice on how to get your hair the way mine looks except follow the directions on the box...thats all I did :) Hope this helps.

  • I stopped relaxing around August 2008. I big chopped in Feb. 2009. I am in love with my natural hair and can't believe I waited so long to make the decision. It's funny because I wouldn't wear makeup and I refused to dye my hair because I feel as though my natural God given beauty was just fine and yet, I rationalized chemically relaxing my hair every 4 weeks.

I now know that what God gave me IS just fine and does not need to be fixed with chemicals and or heat. However, this is what worked...

  • @simplyentycing... for me.

I am so happy that you found the inner strength you needed to make the best decision for you and your hair. You are the one solely responsible for what is done to your hair so your opinion is the only one that counts.

I do what to clear up one thing for those watching...a texturizer IS a chemical relaxer. It RELAXES your curl pattern instead of completely removing it. It will not create curls or waves on hair that does not already curl. The same chemicals found...

  • @simplyentycing ...in relaxers are in texturizers so please be careful and take the same precautions that you would with a chemical relaxer. I'm glad you got the desired look but please be careful with the double processing. I would hate for you to lose the hair you have finally grown to love, even if you are no longer natural.

There are several responders here who seem very angry, bitter, or just downright rude & those who are quoting bogus statistics...please ignore them. Do you!

    Be blessed!

  • @simplyentycing

    Thanks

  • I've been natural (B4 it was the "in-thing" to do) since 95, and my hair is tail bone length. Most natural people feel liberated, yet the need to condemn others about chemicals. I had a few followers that did the big chop and achieved a healthy head of hair. Some grew weary of maintaining this new texture and began to add heat. Breakage occurred and they had to start the process over again. The question is: Do you feel delighted over the choices you've made? If yes, then that's all that matters.

  • @HorrorBuffy

Thanks. I am satisfied with the choices that I've made!

  • We need to stop judging each other about who have natural hair or relaxer hair or texturizing hair, everyone has the right to do whatever they want with their own hair. God does not look at hair, God look at the heart. I myself love texturized hair and I'm going to get mine done next month, to me has come down to this I'm going to do what makes me happy not because what somebody want me to do, life is to short. By the way your hair is cute. Stay blessed!

  • @HAVEFAITHALWAYS1 Thanks girl! You are absolutely right!

  • @HAVEFAITHALWAYS1 I'm glad you said that. I found this video cause I searched texturized and wanted to get people's feelings on this because I know I'm not completely natural but it's MY natural. Based on her "apology" I guess it's looked "down" upon? I don't know. I applaud people who can go with nothing...but for me I just don't like the look and I know I wouldn't want to put the time and effort to make it look as polished as I would like.

  • @HAVEFAITHALWAYS1 YOU SAID THA!!!

  • When are you going to do a new vid?.

  • @msprettymia Once I take my braids out I'll make a follow up..sometime within the next month

  • Lol..you are absolutely right...Thank God the troops are coming home. Pages like mine and others are here just to provide resource to the people that need it.

  • why is it such a big deal u have a texturizer in? ..if they dnt like it they need 2 not watch dis video and move on with their lives..smh!!

  • I don't understand all this hoopla about the natural/relaxed hair we are all black we know we are black does it matter? there are so many more important things in life than to down each other about hair...Hey Praise God our boys are coming home from Iraq!

By the way your hair looks very nice.

  • I don't understand all this hoopla about the natural/relaxed hair we are all black we know we are black does it matter? there are so many more important things in life than to down each other about hair...Hey Praise God our boys are coming home from Iraq!

  • @chicagolowe Just because someone texturizes it foolish to assume that they will big chop again!

  • @OpenHeartedMe Hello to you, About 90% of women who big chop and then perm or relax the hair again They miss the natural texture and the look of it and they search themselves and a awaking take place and they never go back to the lye/ chemicals.I'm just sharing what I have found out by researching the facts. It's your choice and you have the right to do with it as you please.

  • @chicagolowe OK. Thanks for clarifying that.

  • @OpenHeartedMe Do you girl, it's your hair, your time and your choice!

  • 4a 4b that's a damn shame hair has its own damn race! The reason I'm standing up on this video cause I went "natural" on Jan 29 and went through a fucking food stamps and followed SOME naturals opinions for the wrong reasons and I was unsatisfied well as of Aug 28 I texturized and I feel damn good cause I did what I wanna do not what somebody else want! And for you Naturals who don't downgrade people cause dey use a chemical I got love for you believe dat! This just for the assholes! Lol

  • And another thing how you natural people gonna downgrade somebody ova some shit yall used to do its crazy at the end of the day everybody has to live they life and make their choices for them! For those naturals that obsessed over material shit like hair to the point where your dis respecting a persons decisions should be ashamed of ya self. Hair is fucking hair and you think about these cancer victims and tell me some shit then!

  • Girl its your hair you can do whateva you want to it. Just because everybody goes natural doesn't mean you have to! Its just like if a group of asshole jump off a bridge I'm a do it too please! All these people who are now natural was chemical users themselves believe dat!

  • you're full of it

  • @amazingracepp What? How am I full of it if Im sharing my honest experience. I think some people are just mad and upset for no logical reason!

  • I just got my done today :)

  • did u ever try to stretch out the hair before u texturized it?

  • Girl, it's your hair...do you!!

  • if you wash it will you have to texturize it again?

  • I love your hair. Just keep doing you and don't worry about what other's think or say. It's YOUR hair. Be Blessed!!!!!

  • have you tried doing 2 or 3 strand twists in ur hair or twists outs?? i'm afraid my hair won't hold because mine is texturized now 2.

  • @shayjshay20

Hey girl, I recently tried to do two strand twists on my hair, and it didnt hold as well as if it were completely natural. Normally I would have a little twists on the end but it kinda lost some of the curl at the tips

  • Im so glad i just watched your video. Ive had an texturizer sitting in my cabinet for a few months and ive been scared to use it. I have 4c hair and im getting really tired of it cause it shrinks so bad. i do twist outs just so i can have more styling options but they only last for a day and i have to keep re-twisting. i think i may put it in this weekend now that i know my hair wont be a disaster afterwards

  • @Rozyonnie

Glad we both agree that its no big deal.......movin on....

  • @Rozyonnie

Your so smart. I hope you feel much better about yourself now that youve let that out!

  • Thanks for posting this...although I'm still on the fence about texturizing my hair lol! Part of my hair is curly like corkscrew curls in the back, but the front and crown are more kinky and wavy but totaling don't match the back. Is it possible to just texturize sections? I actually liked the way my hair looked while wet as the relaxer was growing out just the ends were too straight. Now that it's completely gone, I'm not happy as much lol. so it o.k. to relax or texturize certain sections?

  • Hi erm today my mum texturized my virgin hair and didnt really do it properly, she didnt comb it thru to the ends so my ends are bushy and the roots and hair above the roots are straightish and my ends curly....

    what can i do?

    please help

  • @kidkuriouz I really couldnt offer any advice unfortunately! I only have recent experience with texturizer so I cant help much. From what I've heard once it starts to straighten your hair im not sure it can go back to that natural curl. It has to grow out.....I think! When I washed my hair the next day after my texurizer it went right back to how it was before, but I didnt comb it out to much so none of it was really straight to begin with. Sorry I couldnt be more help :(

  • I understand that your natural texture had a lot of shrinkage and was difficult to deal with, but do you still feel that you're "natural"? Are you going to keep texturizing?

  • Thanks for posting the video and the various texturizers. I tried the Silk Elements brand and i am loving it. I agree you have to be selective, Some products do not work for all. I went natural 4 months ago and the process was too much as the growth began. I commend you for being "Real", i am sure there are many more texturizer users out there. We are all unique, regardless texturuzers, perms, natural etc, Do what makes you happy lol

  • so when your hair grew after the texturizer you had to different textures?

  • @ripsbabegirl32

My roots are tight but the rest of my hair still has a looser curl; It doesnt look like two textures but I can feel the difference.

  • I used botanicals for the second try and my hair turned out better then the 1st. I think I washed my hair too early. Im interested in trying the organics line, do you have a follow up video so we can see your progress? Im very interested in seeing how it looks now. Are the touch-up's easy?

  • @LC32684

I've only retouched it once, and since then I havent made a video yet. I retouched about 4/5 weeks after I first applied but I really didnt need it at that point. I will be making another video soon!

  • Good for you that you found a happy medium. There's nothing wrong with those who texturize and your hair looks great. People have a misconception that natural hair is healthier and that's not always true. I'm seeing a flux of unhealthy naturals. Do you girl, it looks great!

  • OMG.U were in the EXACT state i am in now.. ihavent had a perm since dec.09 but my big chop was in march. 10...but it just seemed like my hair was so short and course, i couldnt do anything with it. No matter what products i put on my hair it still didnt stretch. but ive had this texturizer in for about two months now and my hair is strechin fine..and i can put head bands on it and evrything. i got the texture that i wanted so im good..people dont even know i have a texturizer until i tell them

  • our hair is really nice, what organic texteriser did you use though?

  • I just did the botanical texturizer myself, and it worked, but i noticed that my hair was very DRY! So I washed it the next day, and like you I had no idea that you're not supposed to wash the next day. Did your hair dry out? If so what did you do to fix it? My hair is not holding any of the oils i put in it. :(

  • @LC32684

Hey girly, The only time that my hair felt really dry was after I used the botanicals texturizer and I put that "moisturizing" creme on it. That cream definetly did not moisture my hair and left it feeling dry and brittle. However, once I stopped using it, things were back to normal. Im not sure why yours dried out, but I really hope your hair goes back to normal soon :)

  • Hey, your hair looks awsome. It still looks natural. But yet it brings out your curl. It's cool to still rock what you got itstead of wearing a weave or a relaxer.

  • @indigo2625

    Thanks!

  • Comment removed

  • Well I am soooo glad to see this video because I am a 4c texture and I am considering a texturizer. Your hair looks nice and you really can't tell that you have a chemical in your.....Forget what anyone else thinks....no one would know you have a texturizer unless you tell them! I just want something that will make my wash and go's easier and not so dry looking. What do you use on your hair after you wash/co-wash?

  • @mokingify

Exactly!! no one knows its tecturized unless I tell them, because its not wavy or anything, it seriously only loosedend my curl. After I wash I use any of the Doo Gro Oils. I like the oils better because they really keep my scalp moisturized. Lately I've been using Pink Oil Moisturizer in my hair as well.

  • nice hair and very pretty face!

  • @chickensalsa09

    Thank You!

  • I was wondering why your hair looked so short for 6 months.. at 6 months I had a full on fro and my hair is really kinky...All I have to say about texturizers is that they do contain cancer causing chemicals, and compounds similar to that of draino. So..just be aware that your not only hurting your hair but your body as well.

  • @Jamaicanprincess87

Yeah, before the texturizer my hair "looked" like it was really short. This definetly loosened it and gave me some more length. Thanks for the info about the chemicals.

  • YOU DID NOT "SELL OUT" IT LOOKS BEAUTIFUL. I'VE BEEN GOING THROUGH THE SAME THING. I'VE BEEN NATURAL FOR OVER ONE YEAR AND I'M GOING TO DO IT. YOU DO WHAT IS RIGHT FOR YOU, THAT IS WHAT IT COMES DOWN TO. THANKS FOR THIS VIDEO, ITS REALLY HELPED.

  • I just did my big chop my hair is really short like boy short but not curling......I used soft and beautiful like you did and it did nothing to my hair.....Where did you fine the organics my way texturizer you used????By the way i love you hair

  • @kedabug1

Thanks! Sorry about the late reply! I found it at a Hair Store in my neighborhood called Elegant Beauty Supplies. I've seen it in most hair stores so hopefully you find some soon!

  • I just did my big chop my hair is really short but not curling......I used soft and beautiful like you did and it did nothing to my hair.....Where did you fine the organics my way texturizer you used????

  • um well I'm 13 and I have the Organics Texture My Way right here as I'm typing and they have a choice of if you want to do tight curls 9or soften your hair"s natural texture and they have waves, and they also have loose full waves or a more realxed look and I really luv the way your hair looks which choice did you use

Sorry for the late response! I know you've probably already done your texturizer. I used a big comb and I didnt comb it through too much. Hope that helps! Sorry again!

  • if you needed to texturize to be able to style your hair you should feel bad or feel the need to apologize, correct me if I am wrong but isnt the whole point of a hair journey is so that you can enjoy your own hair and be able to do things with it, only thing I will say is that I did want to see before and after texturizing pics to compare. Enjoy your hair!!"

  • @AfroGrowthNStyles1

I absolutely dont feel that I need to feel bad or to apologize to anyone. The "whole point" of everyones hair journey is different. My hair journey was never about just being natural. It was about finding a more healthy way to take care of my hair, and if having it 100% wasnt helping me take care of it, then its completely up to me to make an educated decision about what I wanna do with it next.

  • @AfroGrowthNStyles1 dont judge her for wanting to do something different with her hair. she dosent need to apologize for anything. everyone dosent need to follow the same natural hair path. if she wants to try some new styles and her un-texturized hair wouldn't allow it, she has EVERY right to do something about that.

  • @AfroGrowthNStyles1

    you make a good point.

  • I just did my BC, and I did the texturizer also... well my beautician did, but it didn't take too well on the sides. I'm going to try the product you mention and do it myself! lol

  • I just did my third big chop and I plan to use the same texturizer to loosen my curls. Congratulations your hair is beautiful!

  • Please come back and give an update 6 to 9 months from now. I'd love to know if you feel the same way. and if you had to keep up the texturizing.. and if your hair is growing and healthy. I sincerely wish you the best on your journey.

  • @unicqueky

Thanks, so far so good! I;ve only had to touch up the texturizing once so far. My hair is very healthy, moisturized and strong. I will do an update vid as soon as I have some free time!

  • Finally someone who is texturized. I am too and I really like it. It gives me a wash and go option. I salute you.

  • @josiewyn
