Is the motor 3 or 4 inches and how did you hook up the servo to the motor?

4 inchs, I drill a hole and put a rod in it to conect the link whit the servo

Yes, i never run tha boat after, to much danger to sinking and sinking fast, so it was a pool test,

The boat is made from 2 pieces 1- boat , 2- transome, all aluminium sheats are cut by foot slider or hand cut by metal snip (wiss) every thing is bend and shape togeter, like the real john boat, it was eazy for me, i have a real john boat 14' x 36'', and the scale is 14 inchs by 3 inchs, 1/12 scale i think ? i use rivets and sealer and camo pain.

Good Idea. I have a stage 1 Xmod motor and a homemade stage 2 motor. They are some of the only fast motors that size available almost nowhere. Where did you get the electronics? And which ones are you using.

It's a screw driver to push the motor on the gear shaft...lol

The plastic outboard motor can not take the 7.4v lipo pack.
