  • 50p/litre! Oh those were the days.

  • I've just bought an old 1994 106....in top nick, red, no rust, FSH, two years TÜV (German equivalant of MOT) for 850 Euros and it's a dream.

  • I had one of these cars up until today. We slid on black ice and it flipped onto it's roof :(

  • when fuel was less than 50p per litre!!!!!!!!!!

  • filmed in selly oak

  • this isnt topgear wtf :D

  • @5bananas1 Yes it is. It's the old version. The current version with Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May started in 2002.

  • quiksilver

  • Ow god, we really have moved on haven't we!

  • patronising much?!

  • He forgot to put his trolley back! No wonder cars have dents from supermarket car parks.

  • i have one, same red colour like this one!! :)

  • 5:02 Wow!! 49.4p per litre!!! those were the days!!!!

  • @samverve sure was the oil companies are scumbags

  • the 1991-1996 Peugeot 106 was assembled in

    Mulhouse, France

  • he forgot to take the trolley back

  • the very best machine................

  • it was quite dear wasn't it, I mean £7650 for a 1.1 hatchback back in 1990 would work out about £11500 in today's money.

you could buy a Renaultsport Twingo Cup 133 for around that today.

  • @WorldwideNobody Thats true, but baring in mind that petrol prices have more than tripled since 1991, and insurance has gone up just as much if not more, as has road tax. The car's themselves maybe better value today spec for spec, but you do infact pay significantly more to own one because of the running costs of today.

  • oh my god this guy is anoying! Thank god they dropped his for new top gear

  • Four minutes thirty five. 47.3p a litre!!!!

  • I live round the corner from the shops at four and a half minutes.

  • One of my fav Peugeot's from the days when Peugeot knew how to build good cars. Sadly not the case today.

  • the details for this car Date of Liability 01 12 2007 Date of First Registration 29 08 1991 Year of Manufacture 1991 Cylinder Capacity (cc) 1124CC CO2 Emissions Not Available Fuel Type Petrol Export Marker Not Applicable Vehicle Status Unlicensed Vehicle Colour RED Vehicle Type Approval
  • This vid is brilliant. Look at all the cars in the background. It's like going back in time. This is much better than some reviews which get filmed in the middle of nowhere - this gives an age to the car and you can see the typical kind of thing most people were driving and so know what was expected.

    Thanks.

  • @theironsea07 What? Is it the one he is driving? Or a one like it?

  • @VOLVORULEZ1995 so do i

  • I have this car! :D Thanks for posting! :)

  • @theironsea07 so do i
