Great Vid! 02:00 List of frustrations make PERFECT sense, in the context of the agenda of the rich families that control our society:
1. Maximise control at any cost. 2. Alienate people from each other. 3. Increase profits for centralized elite 4. Inhibit and waste the effort of the masses by any possible means lest they generate their own prosperous freedom from our control. 3. Frustrate and stress people so that they feed into the degenerative repeat-business of the priests of Medici.
I'm not sure about mini-roundabouts, but regular roundabouts are a GREAT way to get rid of traffic lights as their is a yield sign rather than a traffic light or a stop sign.
@DENJCA29 The problem is that they take up a lot of space. I agree that they're good, and should be use wherever there is space, (I'm sure over say, a 10 year timespan they're a damn sight cheaper than traffic lights) but London was never designed with motorised traffic in mind, in fact it wasn't designed in the first place, it just sort of happened.
Apparently schemes like these in Holland have been a massive success.
@leapoffaith20 True. This is why London is reducing the amount of motorized vehicles entering the city. Much of London should probably just be cycling or walking as cars are very inefficient. And I suppose if they experience delay, they can deal with it if whatever they're doing is so important that they need to use a car.
While the film makes a lot of valid points, there are in fact a lot of stupid (and dangerous) drivers on our roads that should not be there, let alone be allowed to make decisions based 'on judgement'. These idiots clearly have no abilty to judge anything, and have no regard for safety. Sadly, partly because of them, the rest of us have to suffer. Having said that, the authorities that put traffic lights on roundabouts do seem to have missed the point.

To see a short video showing traffic congestion caused by pedestrian controlled traffic signals which have been badly setup please search on youtube using the words 'gnat toucan'.
I am trying to get the lights rephased to work properly, but anything that improves human life (where those humans are driving vehicles) seems to be beyond the capabilities of TfL.

Nice work - this topic has wider repercussions and messages about control in general as well as specific relevance to traffic controls. This idea that we are 'a bit stupid' and need to be 'herded', reminded and instructed about everyday behaviours is part of a massive dunmbing down of the natural intelligence and common sense of society. Frankly I find it patronising. Good stuff!
Nothing new here. Government screws things up. It's not about safety. It's about control and revenue.

This is bs! If you take the traffic lights away, pedestrians will die everyday from fighting to go first. Empty minded people these days...SMH!

@redwoodresidence The evidence says the opposite. Pedestrians are safer in shared space.

Don't move to Auckland - New Zealand.
I have often fantasized about taking a brick saw with a metal disc in it for an early morning clearing session in Aucklands forest of lights.

This is an extremely interesting video.
So there is so much wisdom here!
