That guy wasn't Thai and that wasn't Muay Thai. That was Pradal Serey and a Cambodian boxer. Thais do NOT wear those armbands that you see the boxer wearing around his biceps. a good fight.. but it's not a ko.. it was a tko in the end. he set up the head kick well with a bunch of kicks to the upper torso. the dutch guy ended up expected to block out another kick to the same place

boxer's punch is more destructive than muay thai punch.

But punch is not the main weapon of muay thai.

Elbow is the most destructive of muay thai, the next is knee but the weapon that muay thai frequently use to knock out opponents was kick " Tae garn kor " (meaning is kick at the neck) because of its range.

ya a boxers punch is more destructive, thats all they hit with, in a boxer vs muay thai fight, i got my $ on the muay thai, the boxer wont be able to get close enough to hit him, and a lot of the boxers power will be taken away from the leg kicks (im saying this and i do both, boxing and mauy thai)

well yeah i never said a boxer would have a definite win vs a muay thai kick boxer, but the outcome from the best boxer vs the best muay thai kick boxer we'll never know you are a boxer of your own calibur you cannot speak for every boxer / muay thai kickboxer thats out there you can only speak on your behalf that you'd lose to a muay thai kickboxer
