  • Not very good but i'll take it over the 2005 version any day

  • is the Human Torch burning in this movie?

  • Had this been released, it probably would have been better than the 2005 movie.

  • this looks much more enjoyable than the new ones. reminds of the comics and hanna barbara cartoons i grew up with. id buy this on dvd.

  • 1994?

Looks more like it was made in the 70's to me!

  • @Bowmaj21

It was a low budget film one of Roger Coremans productions

  • I don't get it, this looks way better than the newer one to me, what am I missing?

  • Oh this is the old one. I haven’t gotten a chance to see this one but I did really enjoy the newer movies. Chris Evans is really great in them. I just saw him in the new movie “Puncture” and it was really great stuff! bitly .com/uFKgzC

  • this makes batman and robin look untouchable

  • FANTASTIC FLOOR

  • The only reason this was made was to preserve the rights to make a Fantastic 4 movie years later

  • Face palm

  • WTF IS THIS ! OMG

  • Fantastic Fail??

  • this looks like it's from the 80's.

  • ghoust busters

  • Waste of time!

  • OMG it not like this came out in the 70s or 80s this shit came out in the 90s omg how embarrassing

  • huh. Times New Roman Eh? The most fantastic of any font

  • BTW the music is from the 1980 film Battle Beyond the Stars.

  • @juananism

maybe that's because this is a Roger Coreman production

  • @navylaks2

    Oh. Well, that explains everything.

  • The thing is uglier in here.... lol

  • Fist time i've seen this trailer. it looks pretty fun, like a FF tv show or something. I want to see this.

  • I like it, its cute!

  • so happy that i was born in the 1996 and watch movies at 2000 where the good ones are!

  • Bad really bad

  • Comment removed

  • I own this movie oddly enough. It's not as bad as the Captain America movies with Reb Brown or that 1990 movie of Captain America.

I still kind of prefer the 2005 because, well, they're both campy and fun in a few areas but... oddly enough, the 2005 movie's jokes aren't anywhere near as funny as what Dr. Doom looks like when he's talking to himself in one scene, or a few other special effects which sadly are very laughable.

  • more like 1964 trailer

  • @Mackan272 my thoughts exactly :P

  • Who the Hell is that old LADY????

  • you people are idiots, this is what the fantastic four movie was supposed to be like. Fun, campy, doctor doom was supposed to be the ruler of a fucking country with diplomatic immunity. He's a dictator, not some random dude with "electric powers" in fact the only powers he does have is the power of science...and magic.

  • The Thing and Doom looked like plastic toys!

  • drdoom is freddy kruger

  • lol they didnt even show johnnystorm FLAME ON!!!! lol horrible

  • cant be 90's got to be like 1985ish

  • It's funny that it actually has a bunch of nuances to the comic such as the "doom bots", Doom's modified mouser, Reed and Susan getting married in their costumes. Not to mention that Doom's costume looks WAY more accurate than it did in the other FF film.

  • @DamienTepps YEah Doom looked so much better then the new ones...

  • @pachinko1972 @pachinko1972 You do realize I'm not saying that, right? I'm saying the this costume is more accurate. Doom never once wore a green hooded trench coat... Forgive me if you were being sarcastic and I didn't catch it. My "text empathy" isn't what it used to be.

  • Damn this is realistic !!

  • HAHAHAHAHAHHHHHAHAHAHahahaha

  • If this cost more than $50,000 I would be shocked.

  • @spicymagazine In fact it cost ~1.000.000$

  • Oh...my...fucking...god...

  • It had some potential. But comparing it to the 2005 movie isn't setting a very high bar. That's like comparing Frank Sinatra's The Manchurian Candidate with a 2011 homemade DVD with some conspiracy theory ranting about Obama's plan to end the world.

  • I wish Marvel Studios would get the rights back to the Fantastic Four; imagine a crossover with The Avengers! Didn't they work together a lot, anyway? And Spider-Man! Doctor Doom often fought Spidey, as well as the Fantastic Four.

  • Dr. Doom, with a few modifications, looks better here than in the new movies!! Some aspects of the Thing look better too. Really not too, too bad for a movie working on 20 years old. Looks a little more geared to kids.

  • @cripplecog dude, the first batman came out 5 years before this was made, the second batman movie came out 2 years, terminator 2 came out 3 years before it. My point is, this movie looks like shit lol. 20 years and the movies i just mentioned make this look like a kid made it in his backyard.

  • oi sou a leila carvalho gostaria de assitir inteira esa versão dos 4 fantastico em portugus

  • The diamond is apparently not for sell at any price...

  • ja,ja,ja a la antigua sin tantos efectos

  • Horrid... what the fuck was THAT

  • Esse "Coisa" tá uma coisa mesmo, parece uma tartaruga ninja deformada. #medo

  • At least this crew took the comic more seriously......even with their limitations and small budget. Put the same team together with modern advances to make this possible and it will be......still shit

  • 0:27 Somebody Just discovered the Windows Screensavers

  • Lol, they tried.

  • 90's, not even once.

  • damn comedy ,haha =) Ben looks like stone shit

  • They couldn't even have Johnny go all flame on.

    Geesh, what's the point then.

  • @Themexicanguanorat They just poured gasoline on him and lit a match.

  • No thanks.

    I'd take the 2005 movie.

  • @DarthRevan317 Nah, that was shit.

  • @DarthRevan317 I wouldn't take either..

  • @DarthRevan317 Which also sucks too

  • I just watched the 1990 Captain America trailer and even though its crappy and cheesy, looked waaayyy better then this BS.

  • I dunno, but for some reason older movies make me happy; especially when im high!

  • WOW you mean the 2005 big studio version has better special effects than this 1994 roger corman production who would have thought it. I like the fact that they used the original costumes from the comic in this one. sue richards looks absolutely stunning in her F4 costume. in any event if you can appreciate the film for what it is you might find it a guilty pleasure and entertaining movie.

  • the thing looks like an alien in this

  • This looks amazing and ridiculous at the same time. I must find it. Aha.

  • OMG

  • Compared to the even worse stuff that was going on before (remember Thor and Daredevil in those made-for-TV Hulk movies from the '80s?) this was a first step in the right direction. And I gotta say they did the best they could with the cost-effective technology they had back in those days.

  • Jessica alba is way hotter

  • lol fake and gay

  • didnt tim burtons batman come out a year before this :L

  • @vicarcharlie 1989

  • i wish they released this..

  • 1:11

  • amazing.

  • haha lol this looks like really shit even for a 90s movie looks 80s lol

  • holy shit i laugh for 25 min watchin this omg we have come along way

  • I'm surprised there are still people who like this over the 2005 version! This was crap the 2005 had decent actors way better effects and a good light hearted plot, i know people have there opinion but seriously how can anyone think this was better over the newer film?!

  • @Tommylad2 I think it's very hard to compare the two. I think if someone was looking for one that felt more like a cheesy comic book or a saturday morning cartoon they should go with this, and if they're looking for one that has sleek special effects and cgi they should go with the new one. I do prefer this over the new one, but that's mainly because I liked to watch how the crew worked around their small budget. Also I love James Horner's Soundtrack.

  • 0:43 - Worst SFX of all time

  • Se ve como la mierda

  • can he kiss his ass?

  • :))

  • Parts of this sound track made me wanna watch Kirk fight Kahn.....KKAAAHNNN!!!

  • I was waiting for the Toxic Avenger to pop up any time.

  • I saw this. It was horrible. 2005 at least brought decent effects to the screen.

  • @richpee and yet there's no CGI that can make Jessica Alba look like a good actress

  • @richpee good thing 2005 had an incredibly boring plot.

  • This version was way, waaay better than the 2005 version. It sucks that they never released this version to theaters.

  • WTF

  • i love schlock like this...prob better than watch big budget version

  • Watching this trailer makes me understand why Dr Doom hates them so much.

  • Reed totally grabbed sue's boob at 1:03

  • Oh wow..

  • The thing looks AWESOME! Mr. Fantastic has the best power, in my opinion.

  • the thing freaked me out it looked like ET and if your invisible people can still bump into you.

hahahaha this is such a fail

  • does anyone know where i can get this on video or dvd?

  • @SWITCHSKILLET You can actually watch the full film online in parts on thegreenquality channel. If you're looking to watch it on a tv, download a torrent of it and burn it to dvd yourself. Unfortunately, there has never been an official release of this film, so the only way to get it is to do it yourself.

  • never seen this movie, but I think I've heard the song from other films. maybe andy and the air wave ranger O.o?

  • Was anyone else freak out by the thing when he talked or was it just me.

  • the 2005 version is better !

  • what the hell is that!!!!!!??

  • 3 things annoyed me

1.the thing looked weirder than usual

    2.the thing's voice

    3. 0:53 just because your invisible does not mean people can go through you

  • This Invisible Woman actually looks like is she supposed to!

  • @ThreeEyedGod but the one in 2005 is way hotter ;)

  • it was made because the studio had to in order to contractually hold onto the property rights. from the get go it was never meant to be released. the actors were never told any of that though. hahahahahah fail on their part

  • It's clobbering time~!

  • Is this a swede??

  • @spakasam Nope it is a real movie... a bad one, but a real one.

  • @Bearram1 sort of real. They made it just so that they could keep the license to Fantastic 4. It was very low-budget and there was never any intention to release it to theaters.

  • can someone help me find how they make up the THING?

  • Good thing they took their time.

  • I remember seeing the trailer to this before Carnosaur on VHS and getting all exited for it. When it was never released I was like "WTF?" Then I finally came across a copy and watched it back in 2003, ten years after the fact. Wow, talk about a bad, yet fun movie

  • @Pinhead554

Yeah! I remember the trailer too. Then it didn't come out. I was SUPER pissed. XD

  • OMGIZZLE!

  • Hmmm...I wonder how faithful to Doc Doom's character this old film was....total fail in the 2005 F.F. film on Doom. Even the second F.F. film could not even get Galactus right. High dollar garbage.

  • @castlecolten

Yeah. Wasn't Galactus like a big space cloud in the movie or something? lol

  • Why are people being silly? XD The 2005 version, while it was pretty cheesy, was good in a fun, camp kind of way. I really liked it.

This one is just shit. I can say that safely because I have seen it. It's terrible.

  • Is the music used in this original or is it taken from Deathstalker and the Warriors from Hell? Sounds really familiar...

  • @TtheHF

The music is from Battle Beyond the Stars

  • This is garbage and the 2005 version, while not excellent, is far superior.

  • Thing looks like an alien.

  • With decent direction and a bigger sfx budget, this movie may have made it.

They did keep true to the original characters.

  • horribleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • This looks more like 80's to me.

  • @barthramone Looks like 70's to me.

  • @barthramone that's what a 2 mill budget will get ya in the mid 90's for a feature film.

  • I'd rather watch this than the 2005 version....

  • @Spoon26 It does look pretty funny I admit .

  • @Spoon26

At least the guy playing Mr. Fantastic actually looks like Reed Richards compared to the 2005 version.

  • @Spoon26 Lame. Have you seen this. its terrible.

  • @Spoon26 why does every one hate the movie.

  • it looks but i would watch it

  • What the hell just raped my EYES?! My gosh.....look how premative the effects were...imagine our children saying this....

  • Thing looks a little like one of the Teen-Aged Mutant Ninja turtles from their live action attempt.

  • Best Dr. Doom ever depicted in this movie.

  • Good quality video, for such a crappy movie, lol.

  • LOL i knew there was 1994 verson lol

  • Hahahaha this looks so shit!

  • This movie was never meant to be released. It was only made for legal reasons to retain copyright.

  • @MrNewaccount101 Indeed.

  • my god the thing looks like a nub

  • I want to see this movie. Read the Wikipedia article about it. They told the director and the actors that if the movie didn't go to the theater it would be a possible start to a tv show. The actors gave interviews and were basically lied to. This low budget movie was made to retain film rights so they wouldn't revert back to Marvel so the company could have more time to make a legit movie. Very interesting.

  • Best Thing ever

  • 0:41... Fist Cam so slow but extremely fierce...

  • Missing some human Torch...I guess aftereffects wasn't invented yet.

  • baaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahaha!! glad im living in today technologie

  • I'll take the Newer FF over this piece o' S**t.

  • @NikkisBabe87

    Silver surfer?

Nah, fuck that. This beats that POS any day.

  • This looks better than the newer versions. At least they got Dr. Doom right, and Susan isn't a Latina with a bad bleach job.

  • @ZeroCorpse a LATINA??? u motherfucker racist

  • Are you people actually judging a film that you haven't even seen? There is such thing as a crappy trailer for a good movie

  • So the Thing actually looks intimidating in this instead sad in the remake.

  • Ben grimm looks badass in this as compared to the shitty looking new one

  • The sad thing is, the new version of the film wasn't that much better than this. At least this one was funny. the new ones were boring as shit.

  • I actually prefer this to the bigger budget Fantastic Four movies of the 2000s. It has a more comic-book feel, and Dr. Doom looks as he should. I wish comic book movies would look exactly like the comic books brought to life.

  • Wow, I love The Thing's animatronic face! It reminds me of the old Mutant Ninja Turtle live action classics. Where can I find this film? It's probably a lot better than the shitty over-CG new ones.

  • Dr. Doom disapproves of this bullshit.

  • lol

  • This movie was made merely so the studio could keep the option rights. THey had the rights for just so long as they make a movie with it by set date, otherwise rights reverted to Marvel.

"I don't want it good. I want it Tuesday."

They finished with five days up their sleeves.

They kept the rights and were able to pitch for a bigger budget. I think this one had $3 million!

  • made in kasaksthan ?

  • fuck off this is the 90's! this looks pre 1986!

  • Damn doom looks fucking dope in this one!!

  • hahaha stretching effects looked cheap as fuck

  • wtf is this shit haha

  • From what little, I've seen, Doom & the Thing look good. I find the F-4 suits a bit neon-ish tho'. Who's the guy with the eye--piece? And what was the plot(don't reveal the ending or key-scenes, plz.)?

  • @Velocity9s To my knowledge, the eye-piece guy was just known as "The Jeweler". As for the plot, it was an origin story. That's about all you can say without messing up the plot.

  • I guess they blew the whole budget on the Thing and couldn't afford a decent "FLAME ON!".

  • Where can I find a copy of this

  • @TheTaylorJohnson1 Sadly dude, this movie is bootleg only (you'll probably find it somewhere on Youtube if u look hard enough though). It was made solely to keep the rights to the Fantastic Four so another one could be made later.
