priests are hard to level until you get them about 40 then they start playing themselves and are amazingly fun 45-70 PvP is great. i rolled a mage to 62 and didnt like how it was turning out personally they are really squishy. high damage and good spells

What are you spell comboes? Im a Human shadow Preist, i use for Pvp, VE>Pain>Mindblast>Spam Mind Flay. There is a always a bubble somewhere in that, but yeah. Depends on my mana % if i VT. If i know im going to get killing Blow, i use SW Death. Your good. Just message me about your combos, that would be good

I've also got a shadow priest, Shaade on Shandris, but just a tip, you should always pop VT to start the fight, it's an extra DoT, then SW:P > VE > MB > Then if you have a bubble up SW:D, it's an extra 1.5kish damage that will be absorbed by your shield, and can usually be that hit that swings the fight your way. After that just Mind Flay or MB if it's up, MF is much easier on your mana though.

I would have to agree, skill is always a factor!

example:

If you are playing 2v2 Arena game and get pawned but Come back with a plan and pawn them. I would call that skill and nothing else.

However gear does play a factor but any level 70 with a fair amount of purples only needs to rely on skill.

i don't think drakedog is a good example for this... drakedog is already at a point where he does not need skill anymore. it does not mean that he is not skilled but at some equip point you don't really need skill anymore. i think the same counts for grim, maydie, etc, they all could do well with low gear, but they don't have to. i think 5% skill is a bit to pessimistic but wow is not 100% based on skill anymore.

I am in no way shitting on this player. He is a good SP. But either he PvPs in PvE gear or his targets have no resil. I have 457 resil on my SP and another geared out SP's SW:P ticks for only 400-450. Still a decent video.
