This was a really good and funny performance, that guy was great i`m really sorry that he doesn`t go to Vegas, it`s not his loose, it`s Penn and Teller`s loose, he would be a grand opener for their show..or maybe steal them their show.

I think he deserved to go to Vegas. Not only did he pull off a serious trick, he made a SHOW. That's why I don't like the parameters of this show and how if Teller can make a quick drawing to prove you wrong, you lost.

The problem with this show is that some of the acts that didn't fool P&T were actually better than the ones that did, and really deserved to go to Las Vegas. It should really be based on who is most entertaining and innovative.

@greenjelly01 Well, that's the nice thing about highly publicized shows like this. Even the ones that don't fool them are more likely to be spotted by someone with an interest in giving them a chance at doing a show. This is a really big "in" for these guys.

@Actimus123 I think the reason for the laugh is just the nonchalant way that he is finishing off his banana while waiting for Penn to give his verdict. The reason why Teller was laughing so hard at this act was the entire semi-arrogant, passive-aggressive, yet depressed persona that he had created was brilliant. When combined with his crowd-pleasing banter with John Ross while Penn & Teller were discussing between themselves how he did his main trick you end up with a really great performance.

This show has some significant, but fairly sneaky, edits. I noticed in some previous episodes that in many tricks that key moment when the magician pulls off the effect is re-cut or edited so that you can't examine it by rewinding at home. I wonder how long Penn and Teller actually are allowed to discuss the effect before they guess.
