I really hope this game does this well. If they do, it will put this game on the map. Its the Star Trek MMO that should have been. Not all of us wants to be Captain Kirk or Picard. Some of us wanted to be Data, Spock or Scotty.

Heck if I ever reach this point I wanna be in Engineering just for the opportunity to yell "I'M GIVING HER ALL SH' GOT CAP'N! SHE CANNA TAKE N' MORE!"

OMFG, you cat compare this to WoW in ANY way, this is the future of gaming, is there a certain lvl you need to ride in a ship? i know that you need a lvl to own one, but can you fly one at a low lvl?

@jacobgovan is 20 or 35 something like that the gudes the forums and some fan pages state different however astral's the high lvl zone so you need to be lvl 40 with good gear to survive there as far as i've read, and well lvl 40 is cuz cap is 42 x3

@jacobgovan Yes, to construct one, u'll need a quest (lvl 35). But kinda hard 2 do as lvl 35.. so i'd recommend lvl 38. Oh and u need 1500 gold...

@jacobgovan U can fly it at any lvl i think... but constructing one is harder:

First quest for construction: lvl 35 (recommend 38, way to hard for lvl 35 and u need a bunch of ppl). U also need 1500gold...

oh and constructing takes 100 real days.. (unless u do 2 daily quests every day, this makes it bout 33 days)

This game is an adventure, even while its free its so promising for the new gamers among us. I started out with Runescape, look what Gpotato made, this game is awesome and opens a new looks on the gaming world especcialy for the younger-gamers, people say Flyff. I say Allods. They meet every aspect in this game, PVP, Raids, Raid (PVP), PvE, Group PvE. It just makes u feel like your playing a P2P game. Greatjob Gpotato! Greatjob!

@JHRMS The patch in 8 day's will make it F2P again ! So if you like allods before you should maybe pay a visit ! Maybe even just to say hello ! New lvl cap and no need of incense as it will not give damage boost ( reason for most of allods population leaving )

actually, you can fly with 1% HP ship. While your shields are not broken, you and your team are in safety. 'cause astral beasts can't damage your ship till your shild ain't broken. But I'm sure that developers will fix that hint very soon.

I think the goblin didn't work because you were using the wrong one, maybe the mechanic or repairman would have worked better than the tinkerer, but this is just a guess.

Astral Ship travel looks just like the video. You have to fully control the ship with 6 other people (or more in bigger ships) and navigate like you would a crew sailing a ship. You can go up down left right back forward.

What happens when your ship is destroyed? Does it dissapear forever, and you need to build a new one?

Repair costs + repair time. This one was 40g and 10 hours (can reduce to 3 hours with a quest).

Lovely! I've really enjoyed AO thus far. Two things:

1] Closed Beta [Test 4] was extended until Feb. 10th, so for anyone who sees this and wants to get in on this final CB, no beta key is required :)

2] What font is that? lol Stupid question, I know, but I really liked it...

Good video. Like the Khaaaaaan! at the end. It's too bad that a free MMO could accomplish what Cryptic Studios said would be nearly impossible when asked to do something similar at the starting point of Star Trek Online.
