@kosmazawada Cleans up there rear. I thought it makes it look even better. Sucks if you are in wet conditions though. There is nothing to stop your rear tire from flinging water onto your back. I'm in Cali, so not much of that for me.
I'm having a hard time hearing the difference between the Zard and Termi sound in your videos (as you mentioned in the comment). Would you mind trying to sort of describe the difference in sound? Trying to decide which to buy for my (new to me) S2R 800! Lovely bike!
The Termi's are more throaty. I need to get a new video though. The air box is now open, I changed to a K&N Filter, and the bike tuned with a custom advance map for the Power Commander. All thanks to Modesto Ducati.
do you recommend the termis over the zard for sound/performance? and do the termis not allow passenger pegs? and lastly...is the clearance for leaning the same as the stock exhausts?? thank you in advance!
Termi or Zard is personal preference, both are great quality systems. The passenger pegs will work the Termis, I just always ride solo so no pegs. I think the clearance is about the same.
The wiring is very simple. The kit includes splices to tap into the existing wires. However I soldered all of my connections for a more permanent solution.
The midpipe is from Ducati. It is the newest one for the S2R800 that doesn't use any of the stock exhaust pipes unlike most midpipes out right now for the 800. You can see the part number in the description of the video.
sweet stuff my friend, keep riding.

It's either Michelin Pilot Power or Pilot Power 2 CT.. I can't remember what was on there when this video was taken.
heatharoni 2 years ago
@heatharoni It's the 2 CT, I think. Just put a pair on my '05 S2R.

And do you know if it can house a O2 sensor (Lambda) from a 2007 unit?
Thank you!
josemaVss 2 years ago
The 06 doesn't have an O2 sensor. If you are asking about the mid pipe I am running it does have a spot to hook one up.

Is your s2r a 2007 model unit?

Is that a tailight w/ integrated signals? If so was the wiring easy to do. Awsome bike, i'm getting ready to purchase one.
