I like some things better in Japanese and some things better in English. In the case of this song I like the Japanese better. I think the girl who sang this version is much better than the girl who sang the English one (not bad, just not nearly as good). I also like the deeper voice for Yuna herself.

I honestly cannot decide which song I like better when it concerns the English and Japanese dubbing. Yuna does sound 'sexier' in the Japanese dubbing, but I've always liked the English one too. However, I think Rikku's English voice suits her a bit better just because of her style and appearance.

It just sucks that on PCSX2 the CGI cutscenes (FMVs) for FFX-2 are SLOW as hell, like 20 FPS without speedhacks... even the fastest dual cores still can't manage more than 30-40. :(

I like all Final Fantasy's, FF7 is getting old for me though, but I like the other installments of FF7 - like Dirge and Crisis. I dont know why people say FF12 was awful, just because the plot was a World type (if you dumbo's even did basic literacy you'd know there are different types of plots).

I won't give you a thumbs down, but I must respectfully disagree. X was a great game on its own, and while X-2 did weaken the series in terms of its combat system and overall silliness, it did answer some questions that would have been left unanswered otherwise.

If you were to ask me, I would tell you that Final Fantasy truly went down the toilet after Square and Enix merged and created the abomination that is Final Fantasy XII. The "Ivalice" saga was a mistake.

I guess it boils down to personal preference, but I personally don't mind it when games/books/movies leave certain things ambiguous. I frankly became annoyed at how quickly Square started going back and adding more material to games that I felt basically spoke more themselves (FF7 being the biggest example). Eh, that's just me. We can agree on the silliness of X-2, anyway.

And yes, FF12 was AWFUL.

Oh it was all about the money, there's no doubt about that! But I just felt like they started to derail after "Final Fantasy" ceased to be their flagship RPG series and became a franchise label for spin-offs, cell phone games, movies, etc. etc. I guess in today's video game industry that is inevitable. Final Fantasy became a "blockbuster" product after FF7, but we didn't really start seeing the effects of that mentality until FFX and beyond.

The Final Fantasy movie actually was fairly good, but it wasnt really a fantasy film so it didnt really fit. 6 was the last great game in the series, and 9 was pretty good, but everything after that was...incomparable. They're good just...they have big shoes to fill.

Yeah, I mean people are always going to argue back and forth about which are their favorite Final Fantasies, but whether you liked the NES, SNES or PSX eras, I think you'd be hard pressed to argue that they didn't really start going downhill from the PS2 onward. They just became too mainstream and lost all of their challenge and depth. Now, by contrast, take a look at Dragon Quest VIII-- now THAT'S how you do an RPG!

p.s. um... k, Yuna looks very japanese. compare her to other square enix characters and you'll notice that her eyes (and others from x and x-2 as well) are not as open as other character's eyes (a perfect example would be sora from kingdom hearts).
